Yikes. Mitch Williams' shittiness goes beyond Games 4 and 6 of the '93 Series.

He's ranked in the top 10 of just about every statistical category that matters for a starting pitcher year in, year out.

I guess I'm missing something here...

of course you are. you missed the part of the story i posted where he is 44th in era since signing his contract.
the crux of your argument was that he has never had a dominating year. i'm pointing out that he is consistently one of the top 10 pitchers in the game year in, year out. he struggled a bit last year, obviously but so did a lot of high priced players on this team.

i don't get how people can under appreciate that kind of production.
I called him a 'very good pitcher' above. not sure how that is considered under appreciating him. can you pick a year where he has been dominant? his highest cy young rank has been 5th. he hasn't been dominant or better than a top 5 pitcher in the NL for a full season and probably never top 10 in the majors. not a rip on him just a legitimate observation. very good starting pitcher just below the elite. some people like to put him elite because of the 2008 playoffs.

do you like Ben Revere too or is it ok to criticize him? have you ever seen a starting center fielder misread more fly balls than this guy? it's not really as hard as he makes it seem.
First ryan howard is better than ted williams...and now Gio gonazalez is better than cole hamels

Hamels is one of the best pitchers in mlb.

    Um, yeah. Game. Blouses

good to see your time away hasn't improved your reading comprehension.

    AT&T buying Direct TV. Thoughts?

My first thought is that it is massive kick in Verizon's nuts.

Could AT&T put together a better and more cost efficient "triple play" package or something along those lines?

nice win today on the Phanatic's 36th birthday! nice to see the offense show up the past few games.

Wish Schmidt would do full time announcing, i'll take him over Matt and Jamie anyday.

We don't want NO moving into top 3. We lose the 2nd pick this year if that happens.

think he ever found that woman from the New York train? that was a pretty funny story.

not good on Cliff. surprised he pitched with some discomfort in his elbow.

yes never got her name or anything then went to the papers in NY and Philly to try and find out who she was but never did. was kind of a weird story for a professional athlete.

That was hilarious, especially because he was cracking up the whole time. Anyone that gets upset over that is ridiculous.

Made in America - Kanye and Kings of Leon the headliners this year in Philly. no interest in that.

anyone making any treks for this Midwest PJ tour? still contemplating but not a lot of cities to get excited about visiting. Memphis might be cool. Wish they were playing Louisville. very underrated town.

no MIA line-up sucks this year and the PJ tour can't really afford. maybe if they were in reasonable driving distance. Probably next year for me.

yea checked into some flights to a few of the areas and they aren't cheap.

how about some of those hail storms yesterday. holy fuck that would suck to have one of them destroy your car like that.

at least we got the unofficial start to summer coming today. thank god. love summer and hot weather. bring it on.

Yeah I'm gonna go to Denver. Something new. I've never been there. Legal weed. Last year I was kinda disenchanted with the Philly 2 show I was at. Felt like the same old thing. Maybe cause I've seen like 15 PJ shows in Camden/Philly
