Thankfully MLB screwing the Phils over with that botched replay didn't cost them the game. The catcher clearly was blocking the plate before he had the ball.
I dislike the rule and I dislike replay. What's the point of reviewing it if you get it wrong anyway? And then Sandberg can't argue it. Fucking stupid.www.myspace.com0 -
Says the biggest nfl fan around. They have been reviewing plays for years and get them wrong all the time. I hate the challenge system though. Just get it right and have someone in a booth or whatever buzz down if they are wrong. It will change over time. We are only 2 weeks inThe Juggler said:

Do I like the replay system in the NFL? No. Do I want baseball to morph into the NFL? Hell no.
That was a load of garbage yesterday.www.myspace.com0 -
so this Utley kid looks like a keeper. pretty solid start by him don't you say?
as I said before the season the collision rule is too complicated and is to open to interpretation. should have just made it 100% legal to run the catch over or 100% illegal. all these stupid interpretations like the play yesterday are just dumb. if you can't do what that guy did yesterday than the rule has gone way too far.
while I understand you want to get the call right and I don't mind replay in football for some reason it hasn't sat right with me in baseball yet. all these bang bang plays that are being reversed not really sure how I feel about that yet.0 -
I complain about Jimmy sometimes but this is awesome.Alright, alright, alright!

Man, that is great. The Juggler said:
I was gonna say as long as we don't have any serious injuries this season, and this team can putter around .500 until, like, August, then there's a possible run for a wildcard spot. But, then AJ Burnett happened - I don't care what he or anyone says regarding his injury. A hernia is a hernia and I'm just waiting for the bottom to give out. Yep, just like the rest of the season.

The starters going past the 5th or 6th would help the pen some, too many walks.Alright, alright, alright!

Lots of Goose Island beers at the park this year. I don't care that they are owned by Annheuser-Busch now--they still make great beer. That was a welcome surprise.www.myspace.com0 -

Yeah, Good Island's a decent beer. I just think there's too much of it - promote the locals I say. AB's got too much money in MLB though to let that play, though. The Juggler said:

I think I read that the drafts are gonna be seasonal - which kinda irkes me cause I don't know if Summer Love is coming back to the taps or not.
And speaking of geese - yeah, the Wawa at 9th and Walnut was a madhouse. At what point - while watching a bunch of idiots stand in line for coffee - do you decide, "Yep, I've made my decision. I'm gonna wait for free coffee as well in this vast mob of mouth breathers"? People are nuts. And dumb - as evident by one of our most dearest regular commenters here.

Not the biggest Goose Island fan. I don't really give a shit about the whole AB/Inbev thing though. Only decent beer they serve in Yankee Stadium though. IPA is okay. I really like that the Phillies have a lot of local beer.Jearlpam0925 said:

Summer Love has to be out this weekend, right? Has anyone seen it yet?
