    Got my replacement today. On "Lightning Bolt" now. Volume issues seem to be corrected. No skips or harsh pops either (so far, at least!). The only problems seem to be Brendan O'Brien's meddling (of course, that is not the manufacturer's fault). Thanks for getting this issue resolved, 10C/record printing people! Happy dude here.

    no skips yet. i only listened to it once. sounds a little quiet but that could be my record player( i only have a cheapo target one) my 3 year old triplets love it. i let them play with old rock band guitars so they strum and sing and dance with all the songs.

    I finally had an opportunity to inspect my album and the jacket. The result bad pressing of the vinyl and jacket is tore. I got double whammy! However etched in the neutral zone of the album is a quote by Gerry Lopez “surf is where you find it”.
    My question is do all the albums have this Gerry Lopez quote etched on them?
    Also, if I request a replacement do I have to surrender my in hand copy?

    you don't send yours back, they just ship a record without sleeve to you

    people have received the original copy, had issues...went through the proper channels and actually received replacement vinyl BEFORE I've received anything...I did not order the disc, but i did order the vinyl...Must be the canadian factor....Customs i suppose :roll:
