Gave it my second full listen last night. I've mostly just listened to the first few songs many times because something always comes up and I want to hear the album from beginning to end without interruptions. Really liked it and I have several of the songs in my head. There are a few that haven't hit me yet...hard to tell at this point whether they will grow with time or end up being skippers. Overall though, I think it's a very strong album...especially considering this is the band's 20th studio effort!2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0

heard a rumor the band may put "Jacobs Ladder" back on the setlist for this tour!
What other gems should they bust out?
Been a few tours since they dropped "Xanadu"..
and I never got a chance to see them when they brought back "Bytor" couple of tours back....
Would love to see full version of "Anthem" too..!"This here's a REQUEST!"

By-Tor was pretty cool. Obviously a lot different now than back then, but still a good sounding, fun, live song. I'd love to see Jacob's Ladder. One song I've always wanted to hear live is Superconductor.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250 -

The whole By-Tor-->Cygnus-->Working Man encore on the VT tour was brilliant. I actually made a studio blend to mimic that progression....it came out great.Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"0 -

Beneath,Between and Behind This also would be nice.

I don't know if anyone noticed this but I was staring at the album cover yesterday and the time on the clock is 9:12 - or in military time, 21:12.
That's pretty kool.

One of my favorites from the Grace Under Pressure Tour
The Weapon
Lyrics...
We've got nothing to fear...but fear itself?
Not pain, not failure, not fatal tragedy?
Not the faulty units in this mad machinery?
Not the broken contacts in emotional chemistry?
With an iron fist in a velvet glove
We are sheltered under the gun
In the glory game on the power train
Thy kingdom's will be done
And the things that we fear are a weapon to be held against us...
He's not afraid of your judgment
He knows of horrors worse than your Hell
He's a little bit afraid of dying
But he's a lot more afraid of your lying
And the things that he fears are a weapon to be held against him...
Can any part of life be larger than life?
Even love must be limited by time
And those who push us down that they might climb
Is any killer worth more than his crime?
Like a steely blade in a silken sheath
We don't see what they're made of
They shout about love, but when push comes to shove
They live for the things they're afraid of
And the knowledge that they fear is a weapon to be used against them...
I'll catch them Nov 3 Tampa, FLORIDA

One of my favorites. Love Neil's drums on it, and the lead up in the jam section.

I thought about going to that one, but I wanted to be outdoors, so Bristow it is.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250 -

I've seen RUSH there maybe 8 times, love that venue. I think it's called Jiffy Lube Amphitheatre or something like that.
Neil likes that northern Virginia area as he likes to ride his motorcycle to that venue sometimes through the Shenendoah Mountains it's beautiful up there in the fall. If I was still living in MD I would be there and in Pittsburgh but I'll have to settle for Tampa on this first leg. hopefully they'll come furgther south to WPBeach just up the street or in Sunrise FL.
