he was a horrible person on the outside and he's still a terrible person while in prison.
with behavior like that he will never be released.
might as well off the bastard.

The problem... what if he's not in prison for Murder 1? What if he's only in prison for aggrevated assault that paralyzed someone and is serving 15 to 25? He can make his 15 to 25 a living Hell for your 25 to life.

If it's not murder 1, or serial killer. I don't feel that they should lose life.
  • I wasn't talking about the raping and whathaveyou. I'm talking about the day to day life and living conditions. It's hell. Of COURSE prison guards are going to say the prisoners have it easy. They're the ones that have to deal with them all day for their job. I'm sure they aren't going to say they feel sorry for them. Geez.

As far as your friend is concerned, no one ever said it's hell for every single inmate that ever spent time in one. It's a general comment. What did your buddy do, just out of curiosity?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But I digress...........maybe you should take a field trip and see how fun it would be trying to "mind your own business".

You guys are starting to make me laugh with your blatant ignorance.
    hey dude,
speaking of field trips to a prison.
i was born/raised around prison guards.
do you honestly believe i've never stepped inside the fencing of a prison?
one of my best buddy's spent a couple years in one.
i went to see him and wrote letters.
no big fucking deal as long as you shut your face and mind your own affairs.

no bashing, I'm just stating my opinion I think it's funny that you guys are painting prison as some sort of convict utopia. It's laughable.

i never once said it was a convict utopia.
it is indeed hell if you make it so.
it sucks major balls no matter what.
but if a guy minds his own affairs, shuts his fat fucking mouth he can survive.
don't rip off some dude's drugs.

Nobody said prison is a vacationland, but you still wake up in the morning and have conversation. Watch tv or whatever, eat breakfast, read a good book. Like Chad said. If you stand tall and mind your own business chances are people will leave you alone. If you ever happen to commit murder cosmo (not saying you would) i'll do you a FAVOR and ask the courts to end your life instead of putting you in prison. Thank me later.

    let's call him Bob...
bob is a rowdy little fucker.
he likes to fight and get in trouble.
he has a heart of gold just a bit stupid and crazy.
he broke into a business and got busted.
he's been in trouble since day one.
so they sent him away for a few years.
i hope and pray it taught him a lesson.

    oddly enough, he's still nuts.
    :)
i love the fucker like a brother but i don't really run with him.
i know what trouble smells like.
haven't seen him in 5 or 6 years.

Whatever, if a guy rapes, beats, and murders a 5 year old little girl and leaves her in a ditch to rot, I feel the guy should die. And some feel he should go to prison and hope he gets raped. Good night!

Nicolas Cocaign killed his cellmate and ate his lung.

A French prisoner killed his cellmate and devoured his lung after authorities ignored appeals for psychological assistance, he told a court as his trial opened Monday.

Nicolas Cocaign, 39, told judges in the northern city of Rouen that he had had a long history of mental problems even before he sliced open his victim, ripped out his lung and fried it on a makeshift stove in their cell.

"No one was listening to me," the bearded and tattooed detainee told the court. "I made several appeals for help, saying I was a man capable of being dangerous. I took action, and then they took me seriously."

Cocaign is charged with killing cellmate Thierry Baudry in January 2007 by punching and kicking him, stabbing him with a pair of scissors and suffocating him with a rubbish bag.

Prosecutors say he sliced open Baudry's chest with a razor blade, removed a rib and pulled out an organ which he at first believed to be the man's heart, but which in fact was a lung.

He is said to have eaten part of the lung raw and then fried the rest of it with some onions.

Under interrogation before the trial, Cocaign said he had turned cannibal because he wanted to take the victim's soul, but in court today he stressed his troubled background and mental instability.

Born in 1971, he was abandoned by his 21-year-old homeless mother and cared for by the state until he was adopted aged three. From the age of six he was already under the care of a psychologist.

Reports from his childhood suggest he had difficulty telling right from wrong and his mental difficulties worsened when he was allegedly raped, aged 13. After this he developed "violent sexual compulsions".

He was convicted of drug possession at age 22 and was later hospitalised on several occasions with mental illness. He complained to the court that he was not given drug treatment after release, despite asking for it.

"My compulsions were still there, so ..." he said.

Mental health experts are to testify during the course of the trial this week as to whether Cocaign was sufficiently sane to face criminal charge for his acts. A verdict is expected on Thursday.
