    So where exactly are the prices this much? Msg?

    For kc and stl I paid 150 bucks for a pair of tickets (let's not forget that includes tm service charges)

    The same price I paid the last 3 or four tours

    By my math that's 75.00

    Eh, they're a little high but really, have you EVER left a show and felt ripped off? About fifteen seconds into the first song and I could care less about what the ticket cost.

    i dont fault them for doing it that way, but maybe for the large venue shows it makes more sense to charge more, if that helps people see them. assuming they really have to charge so much.

    it looks good that the front row people only pay 80 bucks for their seat, but looks equally crappy that the guy in the nosebleeds has to pay about the same. if they are just spreading the cost of tickets around instead of trying to keep them low, then that just sucks!

    OK Mr. Logic... prices for everyone have gone up everywhere, that includes the cost of touring. Therefore shit costs more including for the Pearl Jam touring machine. You all want to pin it on the band like it's their fault they are choosing to not operate at a loss and make a profit. Cost goes up for them means cost goes up for us...

    you're crazy. i dont know why you keep bringing up this insane "incresed cost of doing business" crap. yeah, they've increased, no they havent increased that much. do you follow any other bands? it simply doesnt cost that much to put on a show as basic as PJ's. they charge because they can. not saying thats wrong but please stop pretending they are somehow forced into it.

    The price is a bit high. But honestly I can't say I was more happy to hand over that money. I've always said that as long as ticket prices are under $115 I'm gonna buy them.

    100% correct. Costs of everything have gone up and I am one of those people who moan about it, I question it, i want to know why? what i don't do is receive a credit card bill which states my interest has doubled and then shrug to myself and say "well the CEO of that company might need a bit more income this year" and thats that. My football season ticket has only went up each year by inflatation... yet they run the same operation year in year out... why hasn't the PJ ticket only went up by inflatation? it hasnt.. it's went up some 40-50% in the last 5-7 years... thats a huge fucking jump... gas, wages, bread, booms hair gels have not risen in costs that much... so why are we hit with a 40-50% hike in prices?

    If my daughters swimming lessons went up 100% in cost over the last 3 years I'd write to the swimming facility and ask why... Your flawed, and many others in here, logic is that you say to people.. "don't go then" or "don't buy them".... but i want to, i can afford it and i love the band and their music... its fucking amazing... but that doesnt mean that me and others like me cannot ask pertinent questions about why the cost of a fucking ticket has went up so much over the years.
