i started with 60 (yesterday) and it was rejected. i added in another zone - one that did not have any 3* hotels - and tried 65, which was rejected also. then i just bid 70 and got it.

comes to $170 total for two nights. add in the $30/night parking (ouch) and it's $230 for two nights at what looks like a nice place in a good area.

doesn't seem like a bad deal.

$30 may be worth it, or it may be not depending on where you're at - just because the PPA are the biggest douchebags known to man and you could end up spending more than that in tickets.

At least you are doing ti right :) There are a lot of people who don't' really understand how Priceline works. But you seem to have a godo grasp on it, especially with adding the zones for a free re-bid :)

I am going to hold off on bidding on Philly for a while yet, but it is good to know what is out there :)

Omni Hotel at Independence Park $80 + fees=$99.37 or so on Name your own price on priceline, then figure $22 for self-park. Bid $80 Philly downtown 4 star hotel.

Seems like alot of people have already booked, but I'm sure there are still a ton of people that haven't, myself included.

I need to wind up the proverbial goose that shits dollars to pay off some of these shows from my credit card before I can think about getting a hotel. Thanks for the heads up on the Radisson. I will check it in a couple weeks.

  • For what it's worth, I just booked for Fri. nite at Club Quarters smack in Center City for $112. A little more $$, but seems a real nice place, in a great location, right near the Orange line. So all things considered, I think a great deal!

Been there. It's not bad. Very small, even cramped rooms because it is a very old hotel, but it is kept up really nice and is in a good location.

Just don't trip over any crackheads on your way out the door.

Any idea what the price including the group rate would be? I was planning on going the Priceline route, but I have no plans set in stone yet.
