    That is like three Quality starts for Beckett in a row. Lester has looked good too.

    We've managed 1st place with those two having tough starts. Things are looking up.

    Paps saves another ... and makes it interesting yet again ...

    he's walking a fine line with the amount of baserunners he's allowing ... I can't even remember the last clean inning he's pitched.

    We'll see. Pavano made it 17 starts before getting hurt for the Yanks. And Burnett has a track record of injuries in non-contract years.

    Good thing the Sox have owned the Yanks this year, otherwise they'd be looking up to them with the tear the Yanks have been on since Arod's return. Good to see Ortiz get another one tonight, he's creeeeeeeping up to start to turn the corner hopefully.
