    it took a while for gerard to answer his door. when he opened it, anna understood why. his hair was standing on it's end and it looked as if he'd just woken up. or she had woken him up. he looked at her bleary eyed.

    it was a place i could get away from things. though i never could get away from myself. i'm not religious, but i love the stone angels and crosses. i like looking at the dates and finding the youngest and oldest deaths. there's a day old baby buried behind the church, and that one always gets to me. it's so sad to think that this beautiful little person died before they really even had a chance to live.

    i wonder what gerard's up to. he never turns me away. if i were a betting person, which i'm not, i'd bet he spent the night with someone and doesn't want me to find out who.

    Johnny hesitated and jeffrey saw that as an indication that his lover was in two minds as to whether he could get away with being late for his appointment. as jeffrey took a step towards johnny, there was a knock at the door. jeffrey sighed.

    'you get that, i'm going back to bed.'

    and with that jeffrey turned on his heel and disapperared into the bedroom.

    Johnny opened the door and was a bit surprised to find it was Anna who knocked on the door.

    Hallo. I didn't expect you coming over. Then again how could I have. Where did you get this adress.

    Before I could say anything Johnny told me to wait as he turned and walked back inside.

    Jeffrey I really need to go, Anna is standing on the doorstep and I am all most late. I'll ask her if she wants to walk along with me. See you.

    Shortly after he left me standing there he got back and said that he was on his way out.
