I was so preoccupied that I didn't notice until late that I was walking in the wrong direction. Somewhere I had missed a turn and I had just kept on walking in the same direction. I stood at the docks when a truck made me wake from my drifting. I had no idea how long I had walked, but it must have been at least an hour.
