Let us write a story sentence by sentence.

as i stood staring out into the distance with my hands shoved deep into my pockets, hamish, not sure what he could say, if anything, picked up rocks and tried to skip them across the lake. i must have zoned out, i do that a lot, cause when hamish did speak, i had to ask him to repeat what he said.

' do you know why i introduced you to davey?'

shit i could feel a confession coming on.

whatever he was going to say, i knew it was going to hurt one of us. i didn't want to do this here.

'before you tell me hamish, you better think about what it's going to do to us. i don't want you laying some guilt trip on me. i'm here for me not you. i can't have you swimming around in my head if i want to get out of here. if it can wait, please let it.'

i started walking back towards the main building.

i hugged him.

'thank you. take him home johnny.'

with that i walked into the building. i saw david, but i ignored him and went to hide in the toilets.

13 days and i was out of here. i cuold do this. all i had to do was focus on me. how hard could that be? i was a master at putting myself first.

i sat in the chair, biting my thumbnail. david just watched me. he sighed waiting for me to say something. i didn't know what to say. maybe i could tell him that. i opened my mouth to talk but david beat me to it.

' i have your paints. we'll have to discuss whether you should have them or not.'

of course what he meant was HE would have to decide whether i was being a good enough girl to warrant such a privilege. fucking bullshit rules and mindgames.

I looked him in the eyes and told him; What is there to discuss, either you give them to me or you don't. I'm quit sure nothing I have to say about it would count for much. Why don't we just pick of where we were and stop wasting each others time.

i could've sworn david rolled his eyes.

'you know anna, if you're going to constantly be confrontational there's not much i can do. i can't help you if you won't help yourself. you think you're the hardest bitch that's been in this office. think again'

i didn't think that at all. i just did not want to be here. simple. it wasn't my choice so why should i come to the party. i hated not being able to control my life like this. wow. maybe i should tell him that.

Can you folks move this story ahead a little quicker?

I'm getting a little tired of all this back and forth not-much-happening story!!!

Break them up, or get them together, just cut it shorter please!!!

no no. i know naming her councellor david was confusing but it fitted with anna's personality and situation that something that perverse could happen in her world.
