Divorce is sad stuff, although as I feel with marriage, it's something I believe should be accessible to all.
And I think if there were more respect for that union itself (or commitment, or whatever the fuck word it's being called now), perhaps divorce wouldn't be as prevalent as it is now, within pretty much all groups.
Same rights, same fallout, same benefits, etc. Really not so complicated...is it?
I'm just amazed that 48 pages into it and still it goes....
there are some very rude and self centered people on this forum they kiss each others ass and attack others no mater what those people have to say,the world would be better without their selfrightous bullshit, chadwick you are a follower of the latest trend I doubt you have had an original thought of your own lately it's too bad your post on the train are not as heart felt as your poetry and even that has suffered in my opinion sense you started on this animal and gay rights rant, your hate and sarcasim is either showing the true chadwick or you've dove into rage and deprission because you're not happy with your own life and drugs and booze will not make things better....something to think about.Godfather.
you are hysterical and a lot more but i am not posting my beliefs of you here on this message board.
for example...here is a reason you haven't a clue who i am and what i am about
i haven't drank booze one in 2 and a half years. you really do not know who i am at all. i am no follower. i am very much a leader and leader #1, at that. your comments here about me make me excited with the thrill and chance that you will dislike or hate me and that i will not ever lose to you and your belief system. i eat belief systems like yours for my mid morning snack after my 2 mile swim.
keep pressing my buttons it makes me aroused.
trend follower = chadwick ?
am i getting this correct, godfather?

people most often don't change those unless a life experience changes it for them
Gay Marriage, abortion, capital punishment...
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
There are logical arguments on both sides of the abortion and capital punishment arguments... And their are victims in each one of those (to what ever degree your moral system applies to them).
But for gay marriage, there are no logical arguments against it, and no victims in any form or fashion. That's why I can't wrap my head around this even being an "issue" to people.

of course you do not have to convince me and I totally agree
but in my opinion it is still a core belief for some people ...
that marriage is between a man and a woman
this why we are where we are in our WORLD not just our country.

I know I voted moving on, but I've gotta second this.

me too...
i'll do ya one better and say that 98% of us are in agreement and no further debate is needed here at this time. this will get done, it is just a matter of time. it is our duty to make sure that every american has equal rights, and maybe obama coming out in favor of this is going to start a chain reaction of elected officials coming forward in support of it.
the question is "what kind of country do we want to be"? do we want to be the country that witholds basic rights from one segment of the population simply for how they were born or do we actually want to be that shining beacon of freedom for all that politicians like to spout on and on about all the time? i choose the latter.

I want to be a country undivided who lives and loves together.
I want all people to have equal rights under the law. I want all people to be free to believe
whatever they believe without being labeled, only understood.
I want the church to stay out of making laws and stick to embracing
personal beliefs, uniting not dividing and setting an example of brotherly love.
Last but not least, I want to be proud of my country again and trust that our government has
it's people's best interests at heart.

exactly. if that was the true goal that is what they would be fighting for.
