we played better against the broncos than you did. remember, you lost to them this year?

    well you survived december.....with a 2-2 record  .

congrats on beating a bad team yesterday. did you see that other bad team beat the team you were so happy about beating last week? (pst---the saints are frauds) ;) yeah, enjoy the 6th seed.

That's a lot of garbage you just typed there. Football is a game of matchups and a W is a W, regardless of the scoring margin. btw, we matchup very well with the Beagles and who is it that won the game earlier this year???

    Yeah, that's what I thought.... ;)
  • The refs gave the cowgirls the game at the linc this year. They blew call after call and spot after spot. Thats the one game this year that we got robbed.

what exactly was garbage? did you not lose 2 games in december again? did the saints not lose to a team with 3 wins yesterday? did you not lose to the broncos this year? are you not currently the 6th seed in the playoffs? you don't make a lot of sense.

yeah, we definitely let that one slip through our grasp. however, i like the loss now as this week is a revenge game for us. throw in the fact that dallas will probably be favored by a couple points...i like our chances my friend.

    but for now, go bears!

BullSh*t, dude - the refs blew just as many calls the other way. Prevented Dallas from going up even more on your team with phantom Off pass interference. Go back and read the posts from that time - both teams had plenty to bitch about. Horrible refs this year and that game was a prime example, but I was just as angry about the bad calls going against Dallas.

Besides the ref, neither team played that good. This time both teams are doing very well, but I see Dallas playing and just being better now.

And I hope McNabb hasn't gotten too comfortable. He hasn't had to try to run from Ware for awhile.

Both spot challanges they got wrong which in the long run cost us the game. The NFL even ammited that they blew the spot challenge later in the week. If we dont lose that challenge we dont allow austin to catch that td,because were still driving.

If not for other bad calls against Dallas earlier in the game, Dallas has got more points on the board and you're not even in that position. That phantom off. pass interference call against Witten was just as influential (if not more so considering the field position) and that wasn't the only bad call Dallas was on the negative side of. Stop your crying.

He threw a redzone interception that the defender couldn't handle and ended up a touchdown... and you beat Denver by 3 (yes we can go into the Dallas-Denver game back in Sept if you want, I watched that one too)...

No 5 is one of the best football players I've had the opportunity and displeasure to watch many games of, but let's not jerk him off too much.

104% qb rating yesterday, guy. pretty good game even with the rough stretch in the 2nd half. the int's are an anomaly. he's got the greatest td-int ratio in the history of the game.

but i was referring to the big time runs he has had the last two weeks in response to flag's comment.

Uhh yeah, he is hard to bring down. Dallas does have one of the best group of defensive linemen in the league and Phillips is one of the best defensive game planners, so its a great match-up. Those INTs can come at the wrong time for him. When you think about it, McNabb great as he is, deserves the "choking" rep far more than Romo. I wonder if we'll be looking back at No 5's career as one who could never win the big one.

You're right. You actually have to win a playoff game, abound by all the overblown hype of being the second coming of Aikman, to become some kind of choke artist.

3rd in the league in scoring points. Eat it long, and eat it hard.

wow. you gotta win some big games to come up not so big in the biggest of games dude. ;)

with romo, we're still talking about a cat who has never won a playoff game. ever. the fact that people are making a big deal about the fact that he actually won a couple games in december (despite losing the other two  ) speaks volumes.

and despite your coach being "one of the best defensive game planners" in the league---he's still a guy who has never won a playoff game either. ever. in his entire head coaching career. ever.

we'll see how they do next week. cowboys will be favored by a couple points, so the pressure's clearly on the home team in this one. i like our chances

Romo is only a few years into his career, while McNabb has established himself as a choker. May be Reid will lose this one for yall too. Well, have to run to Portland to watch the Blazers. We'll continue this later... PHILLLY WEEK!

by the way--romo's in his 4th year in the league and has a HUGE contract. mcnabb had about 4 or 5 playoff wins under his belt with far less talent to work with at a similar point in his career.

Eagles in position for No. 2 seed after Vikes' loss Listen to this article. Powered by Odiogo.com

In what can only be described as one of the most wildly entertaining games of the season, the Bears handed the Vikings a 36-30 overtime loss Monday night at Soldier Field.

What does this mean for the Eagles?

With a win over the Cowboys next weekend, the Birds will be the No. 2 seed in the NFC, meaning a first-round bye and a game at the Linc in the divisional round. The Eagles now control their own fate.

After starting the season 10-1, the Vikings (11-4) have lost three of their last four. If the Eagles and Vikings win next weekend, both teams would finish 12-4, and the Birds own the tiebreaker. If the Eagles win and the Vikings lose, well, obviously the Birds would have the edge for the No. 2 seed.

The Vikings' loss also means that the Saints have clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

As if Sunday's matchup in Dallas weren't already big enough, the stakes just got a little bit higher. As you'll see at the bottom, the Cowboys still have a shot at the No. 2 seed too.

There are now three different scenarios for the Eagles on wild-card weekend:

    * The Eagles could have a bye as the No. 2 seed.
    * The Eagles could travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys as the No. 5 or No. 6 seed.
    * The Eagles could travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings as the No. 5 or No. 6 seed.

    Here's an updated look:

How can the Eagles get the No. 2 seed?

A win in Dallas against the Cowboys. That's it.

How can the Eagles drop to the No. 5 seed and play the Cowboys?

If the Vikings beat the Giants AND the Cowboys beat the Eagles AND the Cardinals beat the Packers, the Birds would travel to Dallas in the first round as the No. 5 seed.

How can the Eagles drop to the No. 6 seed and play the Cowboys?

If the Vikings beat the Giants AND the Cowboys beat the Eagles AND the Packers beat the Cardinals, Dallas is the No. 3 seed and hosts the Birds in the wild-card round.

How can the Eagles drop to the No. 5 seed and play the Vikings?

If the Vikings lose to the Giants AND the Cowboys beat the Eagles AND the Cardinals beat the Packers, Arizona earns the No. 2 seed, and the Birds travel to Minnesota in the wild-card round.

How can the Eagles drop to the No. 6 seed and play the Vikings?

If the Vikings lose to the Giants AND the Cowboys beat the Eagles AND the Packers beat the Cardinals, Dallas earns the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. The Eagles would then travel to Minnesota in the wild-card round.
