oh, you mean the seed that is currently 1 ahead of where you are at right now? that one?
Yep, that is the one. The boys win their last 2 and that's where you will be
On a side note, I think Andy Reid has no clue in the following quote. Classy crew?
"There was one that was close," coach Andy Reid said, when asked if he had been hit. "We probably don't need to throw snowballs. We're a classy crew in Philadelphia here and we need to save that for the parking lot, I think."

maybe you should worry about just getting into the playoffs before you start talking this utter nonsense.
dawkins is gonna play on sunday. hard to believe we're where we are without him on the field this year. i'm just hoping the coaches don't try to do too much with him and forget mccoy that it affects our rhythm out there...
Dawkins isn't the only Brian who could return Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
Brian Westbrook, according to coach Andy Reid, is also likely to be back on the playing field when the Eagles play the Denver Broncos and former Eagle Brian Dawkins.
"Right now, it looks pretty good," Reid said.
The Eagles have been without Westbrook since he suffered a concussion early in the third quarter of the Eagles' Nov. 15 loss at San Diego.
It was Westbrook's second concussion in 20 days and it came after he had missed the previous two games after being knocked unconscious by a knee to the head from Washington linebacker London Fletcher in an Oct. 26 game.
"Just watching the last couple of weeks here out at practice, the next step, if all goes well here in the next couple of days, is to get him back in the game and see what he can do there," Reid said.
The challenge for Reid and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is to work Westbrook seamlessly into an offense that has been running well without the two-time Pro Bowl running back. Reid said he welcomes that kind of challenge.
"My feeling when you have great players is that helps you a little bit more," Reid said. "We're not going to get worse with Brian Westbrook coming back."
In the eight games Westbrook has missed this season, the Eagles have gone 7-1 and averaged 30.9 points per game. They are 3-3 and have averaged 21.5 points per game when Westbrook has played.
Perhaps more important is that the Eagles have been a more balanced team in Westbrook's absence, relying more on the running game. Reid and Mornhinweg called at least 53 passes in three of Westbrook's six starts. In the eight games without Westbrook, they never called more than 40 pass plays.
Rookie LeSean McCoy has replaced Westbrook in the lineup, but fullback Leonard Weaver has benefited most from the star running back's absence. Weaver carried the ball 58 times for 287 yards in the eight games Westbrook has missed and just four times for 14 yards in the games he has played.
Given Westbrook's past, it's understandable why Reid will gladly welcome him back.
"I think it's good for everybody," Reid said. "That's a good football player."
Reid admitted, however, that even if Westbrook is ready to return, he will likely be eased back into the offensive game plan.
"He'll have fresh legs out there," Reid said. "Obviously, he's not going to play the whole game."
Injury report
Reid said that rookie receiver Jeremy Maclin probably will be at practice tomorrow after missing Sunday's game because of an injury to his left foot.
"We'll see how he does at practice and ease him back in," Reid said.
Quarterback Michael Vick left Sunday's win over San Francisco with a bruised thigh and Reid said he remained sore yesterday.
Safety Quintin Demps suffered an ankle sprain and was listed as day to day by the coach.
Extra points
Former Eagles running back Correll Buckhalter is also scheduled to return to the Linc with the Broncos, but he missed Denver's game Sunday against Oakland with an ankle injury. . . . An Eagles source said the team has not been asked by the Seattle Seahawks for permission to interview general manager Tom Heckert for a job with the same title. Heckert, according to an ESPN.com report, is being considered for that job.
Reid said the mood after the Eagles clinched a playoff spot Sunday was subdued. "I think the veteran players that have been around here, they've adopted that and the young guys don't know any better, so they just kind of follow the veteran players," the coach said.
are you from around philly? why would you even check his site out if you're not a birds fan?
I have a lot of friends from Philly so they keep me in the loop. My Dad is from Arlington so I grew up a Boys fan. I like to keep up on the competition and love football.
I hope you have a nice holiday! I am sure we will be involved in some heated smack talk in the coming weeks
Decent win against a decent team. Hoping to beat Dallas next week and the Vikings to lose so they get a bye week and home field for at least two games.

HUGE win....played like poop in the 2nd half....but again, the defense came up big down the stretch. actually the defense did not play too bad. its just that with the turnovers, the broncos kept starting in our territory the entire 2nd half.
macho harris needs to stop returning kicks. but his personal foul after asante's interception was rather bogus.
in addition to the perfect pass to maclin, donny's 25 yard run the drive before was crucial because it meant we swapped field position. those two plays were so clutch. he looked like the 5 of old on that run. good to see.
good to see westrbook back also. he looked pretty good. i wish they would have stuck with the ground game more after halftime though. celek also disapeared.
jason avant just continues to catch everything that is thrown his way.
is it me or is tracy white a pretty damn good linebacker? dude makes plays week in, week out.
sheldon brown? pay the man!
and...oh yeah, brian dawkins played. had 8 tackles. nothing that stood out other than his penalty early in the game though.
really pissed that the giants rolled over and died today. i was thinking they could knock off minnesota next week and we would have a shot at bye. don't see that happening now. they're a bunch of dogs. i will take another divisional crown and a home playoff game in a couple weeks though....this conference is wide open...

Jeags, just curious, when do you need to have your playoff money in by?
tomorrow. my buddy actually paid it online today instead of mailing it in.
did you see the cowboys cut one bad kicker and signed another bad one today?
I saw that. Gotta love it.
Funny thing is that there is a possibility that you may not host a playoff game
we're hosting 2 my friend. don't get too excited over beating the saints. remember the skins and falcons almost beat them too.
5 seed at best for the birds

G Cobb is probably the most lopsided garbage out there today. I can't believe someone of your intelligence would be reading his material
why would you say that? have you ever checked out his sight? poor grammar aside, he has great insight into this team.

yeah that's pretty stupid...
I was teasin' a little bit. He isn't that bad but I don't agree with some of his insight. Then again, I am a Cowboy fan
The courage award for Vick is a joke, IMO.

He used to be a Cowboy right? But I do smell the hint of cockroach.
