    Pancakes has been a part of the family for I'm guessing 7 years?
    I'll get a good picture of Cupcakes, who I'm guessing is 5 years old, and I'll post it.

    If it were up to me I would own a dozen cats.

    Cupcakes in her Christmas wreath. She has slept in it every day for at least 4 years. I brought the wreath home, brand new, and it never got hung. Cupcakes claimed the wreath. This picture was taken 30 seconds ago.

    But Cupcakes, the calico, does the same thing.

    oh my bad, looked like he had some orange markings on him (although most calicos are female so I should have known). :smile:

    All my cats have covered their eyes as well. I think it is just a cat thing. It’s so cute when they do it.

    Calicos are the official state cat of Maryland! I am looking to add a kitty to my household hopefully by mid-winter. 

    I have been sitting for these two rascals this week while friends are out of town for a wedding:

    Homer the best little good boy and sweetest baby girl Panda. 

    (Despite their names, Panda is the grey one.)

    Thanks. She is pretty spectacular. She is very sweet as well. She is very small - only 6 pounds. I think she must have been the runt of her litter. But she has a perpetual kitten look even though she is 6 years old.

    We’ve only had a state cat since 2001. Calicos were chosen because of their coloring, which matches that of both the state bird (Baltimore oriole) and insect (Baltimore checkerspot), both of which are named after the colors of the coat of arms of Lord Baltimore.
