    Geez Ive got somne work to do. Only exercised about 6 times the entire tour and from memory it was all in the first half. Gonna hurt. Back to gyn tomorrow

    Good to see people still going....hopefully some newbies in here....will read later.

    3 mile run (5K for our metric friends)
    then some 30 lb curls every other day, and on the odd days, push-ups.

    standing ga barrier is a better work out than any gym i know of - 7 days after last barrier (auckland) and finally bruise free .... relativley

    well done dude - hey, maybe you're onto something there; i'll try a post-sleep-deprivation pt session some time this week perhaps? i'm not into steam though - i even hate ironing and cooking vegetables for that reason...

    Got to get back into the exercise now! Considering going skiing in NZ later in the year so need to get really fit!

    And yes Wookie.....I wore my pants in the pit and all holiday! haha Both pairs are actually a bit big for me now -- didn't eat anywhere near enough on tour!

    DonJon, how was your gym session with zenith after I left Sydney on Saturday? :lol:

    my workout over the weekend consited of a little bit of elbow bending whilst listening to the adeliade and melbourne boots.

    so far today I have walked to work with the intention of doing an RPM class after work. :lol::lol:

  • newbie on the daily workout thread...

    Up until about 2 years ago I worked out religiously 4-5 days a week... mostly weights. Me on the left:

    Now I'm soft as rotted fruit. I hit the gym 3 times last week... ran 3.5 miles today and did 100 sit ups. My fat ass hurts bad. Tomorrow I'm doing chest/back/biceps/abs and SQUATS on Wednesday... then another aerobic day on Thursday and shoulders/triceps/abs on Friday.

    Gotta get all swoll and cut for the Jersey Shore this summer! :lol:

  • simple workout today:

    walk to gym in the light rain (1 hour)
    40 mins on the cross trainer (about 20 mins max resistance, and 20 mins at half resistance)

    can I ask a question?

    my PT is finishing up in a few weeks and moving to a new city, should i get another pt or go it solo and see how i go?

    and wookie - re the pt - if you are self disciplined you'll be ok. but im the sort of person that if i pay for a course or membership i'll use it, or if i have someone standing over me telling instructions ill work hard. but if its left to me i often find myself at the end of the day with a set of excuses. i need tactile motivation. does that make sense??? so when we move back somewhere metro it'll be a formal gym for me, $$ or no
