Wookie Im such a bad runner its not funny. Im used to doing 400 intervals so the 800 today REALLY hurt.

It just bores me. I'll do chins, push ups and burpees for an hour instead of a one hour run.

Yeah Im worried about November....no gyms  Gonna try to find a gym in most towns but I will run most days for 25mins or so. Ill drag you lazy fucks out one day

No seriously we should all go train together on a few of the days.

Zenith when in Sydney you can come and box in my garage 8-)

Hmmm....what's the best exercise to just strip fat off....really quickly....?

shit you must be short?? for my height im meant to be 56kgs, but thats just never going to happen. im too curvy - plus, your muscle weighs more, so you go on your measurements - so if i sit between 60 - 65 im happy enough

hhmmm tho - he's the expert

but - you need to bump your metabolism ... so do some resistance training, then every second day alternate high cardio with slow - like jog, walk, jog, walk. or a circuit that alternates cardio and resistance stations ....

    correct mr trainer ????

your lucky for my height i am meant to be 92kg, currently sitting at 155kg.

as for what ya meant to be they are only guides, or in some case so flawed that they should be ignored.

i think what matters most is how you feel! and not how you look!

I'm 5'1 and about 57 or 58kgs now........but need to lose a lot of weight so I can wear pants. I have a phobia of chubby thighs in pants.....seriously! :? I never wear pants now....ever....but fucked if I'm wearing a skirt in the pit. So I have about 80 days to lose 5 kgs and strip off the fat.

    What is resistance training?

resistance training is where you stand a look a unhealthy things like chocolate until you can not take it any more and eat it.

resistance training usually refers to the use of weights

    What is resistance training?

focus on certain muscle groups, and use either your own body weight (with lunges, crunches, presses) or use some weights ...

but diet is a bad word - you dont stop eating, you eat to suit your body - realistically, you shouldnt loose anything over 1kg a week - and even that is being generous. if you do you are only loosing water and muscle, and that will be replaced by fat once you start to eat shit again. and if you are going to train, you need to fuel your body with carbs and protein to do it.

i wish he was here now, im going to be giving out the wrong advice :?

Zig you are not allowed to post in here until you have started a training regime

    Do it girl....seriously.

Then on tour we can all train and then enjoy the POT of gold and beer at the end. This by the way would be a secondary reason for you to do such....the first reason is obvious

    again ... he's gone ...

ok - you got a gym nearby?? if yes, start a body pump class. but be warned .... the first time i did a class i was so sore i coulnt even walk down stairs ... or lower myself onto the loo ... it hurt so bad  but it gets easier, and it really does strip it off you. your combining cardio and resitance in one hit.

or - take an hour - walk as far as you can in 1.2 hour, up some hills if you can. aim to stop in a park or somewhere and do lunges, squats, (if the grounds not wet) crunches, including your obliques, and some push ups if you can handle them (i hate them) - try for 3 sets of 12 reps all this should take about 15mins. then walk home, faster than you walked out, so you get home in the hour.

Yes I have a gym nearby but I'm not too keen on jumping into the whole gym scene straight away. I'll die doing a class.

Okay....walking etc like you said sounds alright -- I'll stick to the crunches etc at home instead of the park.....but I've been getting home pretty late lately and it's been dark some nights so maybe I need to invest in some machines -- A tredex costs about $1000 -- so fuck that......how about a stationary bike?

Or skipping? :? What other stuff can I do at home at night?

    Running and free weights.

I HATE gyms. I think they are f'n disgusting!

Anyways, I run about 3-5 miles a day and do some free weights.

    That is all.

Gotta burn off all those beer calories!

Did a 8 miler in the 103 degree Arizona heat today. 105 is my limit here and I pushed it way to hard today.

    Ugh!

Should sleep pretty good tonight though...
