you musta been on some really good mary jane. christ dude even i wouldn't bet the mets at all this weekend. tonight was the 1 game they were given a freebie and they fuck it up like the typical 2nd half mets.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

to say howard was good in that series is incorrect. HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN RBI
But according to what u believe he was. Perfect reason why Rbi's and hr's are important

Seriously - I thought they didn't mean anything. His .900 OPS should've just made runs appear magically.

It was a joke guys. that's why I put it in caps

ibanez is getting ready to pass the $25 million man in batting average. now that will be funny

Watching MLB network. Some awesome 9th inning homers tonight.

i was flipping between the phils and reds/cards. that was a great game

Phils just keep on winning. worley is a nice 5th starter, even though he's a huge tool

OK boys, I'm jumping on the pirates bandwagon. I want the phils to earn a first round bye. Who's with me?

    LET'S GO BUCCOS!!!

that's kinda crazy. they were in same division for most of their histories though

Pirates could definitely hang around for a while. Will be interesting to see what those central teams do or don't do leading up to the trade deadline

They must've been tied for first at 1-0 at some point. Maybe they mean this late in the season.

Be careful rooting for anyone to play in the playoffs. Phils are miserable IN Pittsburgh.

Jayson Werth,Vernon Wells,Carlos Lee,Barry Zito,Jayson Bay these guys are stealing money and not producing.
can we add santana to that list as well? as bad as zito has been, at least he's been dragging his ass out to the mound for all of his contract (recent DL stint aside).

now, I'm like 20 pages behind in your thread....but it looks like you're still basically arguing about howard

Hamels really has a lot of trouble with the Mets. The atrocious defense doesn't help either.

defense thing is hilarious. never seen a player have so much trouble catching the ball. took him 30 years to learn how to throw, hopefully mastering catching the ball is next

Did I say it was reason they lost?

Getting old watching him drop pop ups. It's not that hard to catch the ball

Why beat a dead horse? You know where the convo will eventually end up,although i'm sure that's your goal. Anyway nice to see KK look good to this point. Taking a series without using Doc or Lee especially with Hamels pitching bad is huge.

according to some here his defense has been 'flawless' this year. Just pointing out how wrong that statement is. he still blows in the field

kendrick needs to drill some of these pussies for what that douche pelfrey did in the first. I hate that guy, he's gay as hell

Please find who and were that was said i'd love to see it. Because i sure didn't say flawless, but i'm shocked you'd leave out a very key word like NEAR. Can u ever just say what was really said or do u twist EVERYTHING u say in life?
