Sooooooo, what the hell's the price of this PJ20 weekend?

    it's not cheap.

unfortunately its looking like it's priced all, or most, of my friends out. i don't see how you can do this without dropping at least a grand up there. just about everyone one of my friends are either cheap or broke. not a good combo.

    how was vegas?

I just saw 334 for a pair, so 167 for the weekend? And if I go I'm gonna do the camping route.

How do you see it as expensive? Do you mean staying at hotels and what not?

Vegas was everything and more. Good times had by all. Did alright gambling, except for at the sportsbook, but lost most of my money on booze and the spearmint rhino.

I got kicked out of the spearmint rhino in Torrance, CA a few years ago. Great story that I can't post here. One of the guys I was with was so drunk that he fell on his face stepping down off a curb. We were out there for work and he had to sit in meetings the next day with a busted grill. Classic

    on a side note....50 x on cole tonight 8-)

I wouldn't bet the phils with your money right now.

Just take the under every night. They are lucky if they score more than 1

There is a lefty on the mound for Colorado and Ben Francisco is not starting.

It's just another sign that Charlie Manuel has soured on Francisco, who is 4 for his last 42 (.095) with zero extra-base hits. Repeat, zero. (The last extra-base hit for Francisco was exactly three weeks ago, a double on April 27.)

3 nights for a hotel is costing me my wife and another couple 590=295 a couple.
    Tickets=334
    Gas figure 3 tanks each way at 80 a pop=240 a couple
Tolls im not sure about but say 200=100 a couple
Food and drinks=350 id say especially since i cant drink alcohol
    misc shit posters,shirts=125ish
All in all thats 1444!! Im sure there might be added expenses some where, but id say this trip wont cost more then 1600.

You driving your car or renting one ?

Even without flying you're almost at 2G's

    :|
My buddy's Truck were taking, cheapest flight i saw was 700 and change. Renting seemed too expensive with gas rates over certain miles.

round-trip, non-stop flights from philly to milwaukee are only $350 via US Air

If there's a lefty pitching, francisco should be starting at first :o

    ah, gotcha. My bad.

I usually hit concerts with my buddies, so I was just thinking in terms of one person. My wife isn't into the PJ scene. Works out well for us.

yeah, someone just sent me an email saying flight prices were down.

gas prices down this week as well. I'm sure it's all related somehow

that's a good deal. once we lock the pad up I think the rest of the stuff will fall into place.

I love road trips. They are the best

my persona take( i have a wedding so i can't go period)

the airfare is cheap enough but the packages are mega expensive

hotels cant be that cheap unless you stay in a dump far away

then you need a rental car or you will have to pay for a nice hotel near the shuttles

the whole festival thing sucks imo ..i want to walk in see pj for a few hours and leave (thats me)

plus you need your spending money

it would cost me at least 2,000 when all is said and done and for a weekend in wisconsin in a setting i'm not crazy about it just doesn't seem good to me

i have been lucky enough to see most 90% of the epic shows in our area and this will def. be epic no doubt (so that eat's at me )

also i could NEVER stand on a lawn for pj ...i don't care what anyone says ...the vibe is way more incredible when you sit right next to the band
    8-)
i don't know...everybody do as you please and if you go enjoy the hell out of it 8-)

A little research, digging around and making a few calls goes a long way. Boozing in the sun and pearl jam is good for me. Financially, it's not as bad as it originally looked.

yeah, it's more of an adventure when you travel to see them. Probably won't have the ideal seats for the two days, but it will be a cool experience nonetheless.

Plus my days are numbered. Once this kid gets here my party days are over. So this is my gift to myself

Yeah, we did Austin a couple years ago and it was a blast. This will be a good time, no doubt.

Not going to be cheap and I will be partying it up out there for sure. Don't have any vacations planned yet so this will be one.

My girl is going too, using her miles though for flights

Thanks, should be a blast, I will be in the parking lot drinking for the majority of these other bands.

I predicted people were gonna be disappointed come may. sometimes it sucks being right

The Phillies had one of the easiest schedules in the majors in their first 30 games, playing only seven games against teams that had records over .500 -- and they did a great job taking advantage, starting 21-9. Since their schedule got more difficult, they have struggled, winning four of 11, including their 2-1 loss on Tuesday night. The Phillies have mustered just 29 runs in those 11 games.

same story as last year guys. only this slump is occurring at a time when some of our best players are hurt.

i'm not disappointed. it's a looooong season. hopefully we can pull this one out.
