that was the beginning of rocky IV. you should be ashamed of yourself.

    III is garbage.

my bad...I - IV are all great. I still haven't seen VI. V was bad enough

the last one was better than III. III was trash.

I don't know why he's gotten such a free pass this year. the team hasn't hit (his specialty is hitting coach), they consistently make dumb mistakes (reflection of the manager), he's left his starters in games wayyy too long, and they haven't shown ANY emotion.

It's easy to point the finger now because they're playing like such shit, but the manager needs to share the blame.

    Nah, gotta be Vernon Wells

    my guesses

    howard, Arod, soriano, wells, zito

Yeah, I was going to say Arod as well, but according to FanGraphs he has actually been worth close to or more than his contract each year and I am sure that is what they are basing it on. Zito and Soriano have to be on it.

I really don't have a problem with not pull the DS there. Who's he gonna pull out, especially now that Dobbs hit for Valdez which I'm assuming means Ransom will probably play second and he didn't want Dobbs out there on defense, nor Ransom to hit third in the upcoming inning. It's really not that big of a deal.

UPDATE: Especially now that he included Ransom in the double switch with Romero.

And mark it down - this will be game #31 where they score 1 or no runs in a game. THAT is outrageous.

Has it really been that many?

how did you not have the number at your disposal?

Actually working today unlike my usual procrastinating on the board. ;)

Had to get a report done today.

good point...I would have used it as an opportunity to get ibanez out of the game. he probably made the correct move though.

Our frustrations have pushed us to the edge....

And to the gentleman who said Rocky III was trash - I say, how dare you, sir. V, VI were utter garbage. The first four are great. I can't say anything wrong with a movie that includes Hulk Hogan, Mr. T., and Sly shifting his transmission 47 times.

    III is borderline gay.

VI is a decent movie made better just with how low the expectations were.

IV was the greatest movie ever filmed.

Pfft. Are you serious? If you're going by those guidelines, then only the first two fall in that category.

I hate when people say 'The Godfather'. Too predictable.
