Watched Frailty on IFC yesterday...really good movie.

"We paced ourselves and we didn't rush through it and we tried to be as creative as our collective minds would let us be over some course of time instead of just trying to rush through a record"
Men with small penises? .... It takes a man with not necessarily a big penis but definitely some substantial balls to appear in a documentary about that. :P
I shall just say that the director/main guy was told, "you are on the lower end of what we would consider to be average"
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

The guy proposing?? Are you serious?
Either way, I've seen that before and all I can think about is how much of a bitch a woman has to be to act like that! Even if the answer is no, say yes and then say no later!! :fp: (as that video real btw? Some say it's fake  ).

yeah, in the doc, he says "you may already know me, I'm this guy" and shows the video.
He claims that she told him she declined because of his size, or lack thereof.
He also says that he is a comedian...so mocumentary or documentary, I'm not so sure.
it was entertaining. Like a "I have nothing else better to do on a lazy rainy Sunday afternoon" kinda thing. Or if you're really really inebriated.

Went and saw the Muscle Shoals documentary on Monday. I really enjoyed it. Amazing so many awesome albums were cut in that little old town.
Also watched Promised Land last night. decent

It has its moments, and isn't all that bad for this type of movie, but it wasn't nearly as good as I expected it to be from some of the reviews i've heard.

I wouldn't recommend that you not watch it... it was definitely good enough to watch. But that's about it.... Of course, as with most horror movies, the stupidity of the characters' decisions is a major factor.

While it's a good depression era crime movie, it strays so far from the truth and what actually happened, I can't help but be sad they didn't make it historically accurate. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to the subject, so all and all, it's a disappointment only because it could've been so much better
It is super good! I will need to watch it again because I barely knew what the hell was going on half the time, and even then it was really really good, lol. Very imaginative and unexpected and curiously fantastical. Probably the least predictable movie i have ever seen.
