    finally caught Django Unchained.

    (spoiler)... Great flick but I thought the ending seemed thrown together.

    Fell asleep to Brad Pitt's "Killing Them Softly"... It was very slow, not going back to re-watch it either.

    I actually thought it was pretty good. It was slow, but I liked the way it was filmed and edited. It was a basic, unoriginal plot, but it just felt like a slice of life regarding a few criminals. I liked how it paralleled the governments/presidential election typical media coverage and the economy with crime.

It is an interesting story... but it's actually mainly a love story, which I wasn't expecting and didn't particularly want. The idea of creating a salmon fishing river in Yemen is cool, and it is about that ... but it's got a lot of love story and a touch of romantic comedy about it. Plus a dash of 'British politicians are silly assholes' just for kicks.
