    Nice win for the Yanks. At least they get one last win at the Stadium to remember while they stay home in October.

    His power numbers may be a little down because of the wrist, but since the Manny trade .284/.438/.489 for a .927 OPS is pretty good.

    He's getting pitched around a lot with 24 walks this month but still has driven home 19 runs.

    I've been telling Xavier Mcdaniel that since the trade. I think Manny is definitely going to NYC and be another overpriced aging veteran on the roster. I mean he'll be 37 next year. I can see the Yanks wasting 4 years and a hundred mil on him.

    They will resign either Pettitte or Mussina

    Sign Texiera

    Sign Manny

    Sign Sabathia and or Sheets (Both if they don't bring back Pettitte or Moose)

    There's no way their payroll will be lower moving to a new stadium.

    I dunno about Pettite man..he barely wanted to come back this yr and contemplated retirement... I'd rather he calls it a wrap and we spend our money on a top 5 pitcher. Moose too as good as he was this yr, can we expect a repeat performance nxt yr?
    Texeira sounds good and don't forget we also need a 3rd baseman...someone better than the scrub

    You're going by one bad year in the clutch. Forget that he's a .300 hitter in these situations. You're going by perception. He's a better hitter than all those guys. Fielding is even except he's better than Cabrera. Crede is injured every year. And you're also forgetting not many players who come here don't exactly do what they did with their pevious teams. Alex has hit great with the Yankees. Even in his off years. Which is on for some of those players mentioned above.
