You're going by one bad year in the clutch. Forget that he's a .300 hitter in these situations. You're going by perception. He's a better hitter than all those guys. Fielding is even except he's better than Cabrera. Crede is injured every year. And you're also forgetting not many players who come here don't exactly do what they did with their pevious teams. Alex has hit great with the Yankees. Even in his off years. Which is on for some of those players mentioned above.

true true....theres a few players that deserve blame, but obviously the scrubs are more magnified cause of his salary and his expectations. I mean he WAS brought here to win a world series ring or to at least make it easier and it hasnt worked out that way. Bad trades, errors, etc all taken into account...but still. Don't get me wrong, I like Crede. But his injuries do get annoying. He's got those recurring back problems that never seem to fully heal and they can just flare up at any time. He was a tremendous clutch hitter 2-3 years ago, but injuries kinda derailed him last year and this year he's so streaky. Well, I guess he's always been streaky, but we always put up with it cuz he's fielding is outstanding.
