    Of course if Tek squeezes the foul tip on strike three to Ransom he never doubles and Giambi never gets to the plate in the 7th.

    It's a shame for Lester. He's been so dominant this year against the Yanks 2-0 with a 1.19 ERA in 22 2/3 innings. 24 Ks and only 3 BBs.

    Lester pitched great today. Should have left him in to face Molina/Giambi. NEVER bring in Okajima with men on base!

    I can't blame Tito for pulling him. Lester is still young and was up to 119 pitches.

    you're way off on this one. That was one of his best at bats of the series. he only made one out.

    Oki has had a rough year, but most of the damage was done early on.

    I just checked baseball reference and that was only the 2nd inherited runner he's allowed to score since May 15th. Of course from the beginning of the season until then he allowed 9 to score.

    I guess I'm just looking at the entire body of work for this season. How do you search for that on BR?

    Yeah, but that was all his fault.

    Anybody got a SoSH recommendation they can give me? I've been trying to get verified over there for about 3 years but they won't let me in. Is there a secret to getting verified to post? Every time I try I get the following message: Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to that topic.

    Those numbers are a little deceiving though since he'd only had 7 inherited runners over that time period.
