HOWEVER, the Red SOX have won 2 World Titles in the 21st century to ZERO for the Yanks. We've dominated the 21st century so far so the Yankees have some work to cause a hundred years from now this title thing could be all tied up.

Besides you know we've got the next 8 years as long A-Rod is with the Yankees.

but serously in this day and age of hardly any loyalty left in sports and players changing teams like we change undies every day...good luck man..its gonna be a while before we see a dynasty again..my team included

Now Now I never said anything about dynasty. I said dominated and I believe it will continue as long as A-Rod sticks with the Yanks.

well true...we'll see like i said tho earlier
next yr Yanks can go out and revamp the entire lineup and be on top again

for example like the NY Rangers..look how they did..had a decent few yrs, traded major stars or released and this yr are coming back just as diesel
hard to tell with the economics of sports

I love how Sutcliff on the ESPN broadcast tonight called out Abreu for being a world-class puscatore for worrying about the wall more than making the play on that Bay triple. He wouldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the inning and deservedly so. That play might have summed up the Yanks season: overpriced, over-the-hill player worries more about himself than making the play and gets burned.

I saw Abreu for years in Philly. The guy has no heart. He's scared of the wall and that never played well in Philly.

There is no team in baseball that will take A Rod's salary unless the Yanks eat half of it.

I mean the Yanks payroll is almost 80 million more than the Red Sox right now. It's insane how little value they get for the money they spend.

I know this is an old stat but:

A Rod's last year in Seattle they were 91-71. The year after 116-46.

A Rod's last year in Texas they were 71-91. The year after 89-73.

Too bad you guys have to wait to 2018 to see what the Yanks record will be after A Rod leaves.
