    He goes 16-8 3.45 ERA but pitches more effectively i.e. goes deeper into games than he did in 2008.

    Won't mean shit coming from a Yanks fan but in my opinion until he can figure out how to find the plate consistently he is nothing to worry about.

    Supposedly, Dice-K had a great offseason and is looking good.

    we'll see ... cliffy is right ... his walk total has to come down because having a 5+ inning pitcher that walks about as much as he strikes out is not all that beneficial, even if his run support gets him 15+ wins. Which, won't be the case anymore.

    I bet he has a solid season for us and wins some big games down the stretch. I agree too with jimed, he won't have the luxury of pitching with the lead as much in 2010.
