thanks to the writer's strike, they have 2 eps left to wrap everything in a neat, tidy package. I don't see either the Adam or Sylar storyline getting resolved by then.
HRG using the water to keep Elle at bay was great. "Stings like a bitch, doesn't it?" I wish HRG would have stayed dead. Otherwise, it does cheapen the sense of mortality on the show. Is it Adam's blood or Claire's blood that brought him back?
Another great episode... and no sign of the Latino Wonder Twins. Coincidence? I think not.
Actually, with or without the writers strike it was going to end soon anyways.
Pulled this off an interview on IGN.
"Kring promises "The message is that we've heard the complaints — and we're doing something about it." The December 3rd episode of Heroes is the end of the "Generations" story arc (referred to as "Volume 2"), and a new ending has been filmed for it that will more firmly make it a season finale, in case the strike continues - which seems very likely. While it was the Writers Strike that inspired them to film the new ending, the EW piece also says Kring used the opportunity to give the show "a clean slate" for whenever it goes back into production and begins the next volume. "
the strike will most likely be settled next week. hopefully they put this show out of its misery. i record this on my dvr and skip through the parts that don't annoy me. i think i watched 10 minutes total of the last episode. i hope peter kills hiro and everyone else except for matt, mohinder, elle, nathan, the cheerleader, and her dad. these characters are just unbearable anymore.

Maya should have died. KILL HER. KILL HER NOW!!!!!!
The scene w/ Nathan Petrelli's press conference was too damn predictable.
Elle is developing into an interesting character. Hope we see more of her in Volume Three.
So far, I enjoy how "fights" between the characters are written and portrayed. Very believable in how each one works within the confines of their powers and their surroundings. The altercation between Hiro, Peter and Matt is a great example.
The way Hiro got rid of Adam... wow. I didn't think Hiro would do something like that.
I hope we get a lot more Sylar in Volume Three. Maybe he'll go on his own personal vendetta against the Company, seeing as he knows they were the ones responsible for taking away his powers.

i wanted maya and hiro to get knocked off, but i'll take niki. the way they got rid of adam was anti-climactic. they better keep elle cause they need all the eye candy they can get. all sylar means is volume 3 will be a rehash of the first season. if they keep killing off key characters though they will kill the show even more. it was a bad idea to kill nathan.

adam's buried, not dead. and he's in hiro's fathers grave, where is hiro's father? claire or peter's blood can fix nathan.
Yep Nathan will come back by Claires or Peters blood. Adam will be back. Sylar will never kill Mya, thats too much power for him. He could kill everyone.
haha, idk who lots of these characters are, i have one more disc (on the Heroes DVDs) of the first season.
I admit it...what's to say......
I'll relive it...without pain......

i'll be missing the show too. seems to be a lot of negativity about the show this season. i haven't visited the thread in some time, and i was enjoying the season as much as the first. i guess not everyone is looking forward to the third season if some of the posts in the thread are any indication.
Creator Reveals New Footage of 'Heroes' Season 3
Tuesday, February 12, 2008
As reported before, Tim King revealed that Heroes volume 3 will focus on the bad guys and will show how they get together and rise up to destroy the earth, just like what the good guys did to save the world in the first season. In line with this, fans can expect, many villains to surface when the NBC science fiction series returns for a new season.

During the recent Jules Verne Festival, show creator Tim Kring and Jeph Loeb presented some footage, which is part of the upcoming new episodes of Heroes. The footage kicks off by summing up the tail end of volume 2, where Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) gets shot, Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) leaves his family to go back to work for Bob (Stephen Tobolowsky) and The Company, and Sylar (Zachary Quinto) gets his powers back.
Based on the footage, Elle (Kristen Bell) has an encounter with Sylar and she tells him that she's not scared of him, to which Sylar asserts that she should be since he's a psychopathic killer. Elle, on the other hand, retorts that it "takes one to know one."
Also in store for Heroes season 3 are the changes that lie ahead for Angela Petrelli (Christine Rose), who has moved into a powerful role at The Company. It has also been revealed that Level Five, one of The Company's prison areas where the most dangerous and powerful killers are detained, gets breached.
There's also a scene in which most of the major Heroes are all dead. Described by Noah Bennet like “12 Sylars running free,” the shots shows Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) as a corpse in a pool of blood, Hiro (Masi Oka) has been pinned to the wall with his own sword, lifeless and Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) has his throat torn open.
As for Niki, she won't be coming back given that another alter ego will take over Ali Larter's character, and it won't be Jessica. Hiro's sworn nemesis, Adam (David Anders), is also expected to return for Heroes season 3, which will most likely come back in the fall.
What was supposed to happen In Volume 2
Kristen Bell was originally supposed to be in 8 episodes and then killed off but due to fan support they are keeping her around for a bit longer
Elle was setup as a Bob’s step daughter and the daughter of Meredith which in turn would have been Claire’s SISTER but they dropped it due to lack of storyline and plot holes.
Bob was supposed to be more evil then he is now and even recruited his son West to make Claire turn against her father this was dropped early in Volume 2 for “various reasons”.
Nathan’s entire speech was rewritten. He was supposed to give a speech regarding the virus getting out where he mentions the word “Powerless”. Originally, he was supposed to get sick not “killed”.
New Villains
Volume 3 will have a legion of villains that will possibly join forces against the Heroes.
Tim Kring about Villains ”We’ve introduced a cadre of them over the course of the show and we’re going to see them rise up. Just as the heroes have found each other to save the world, the villains will do the same with the opposite intent.” And their numbers may be legion. “The Company has catalogued many of these people over the years. There may be more of them down in that basement than we have alluded to so far.”
A new villain named Knox ( frightening and intense, with the eyes of a predator ) returns to his native city of New Orleans -the criminal territory he used to run before he was sent to prison. This puts him directly in the path of Micah, his great-aunt Uhura and Monica Daniels.
The latest actor to join the show for its second season is Jessica Collins , who will take on a recurring role. Collins will play Sophie, a mysterious woman with powers who works at the organization that is tracking all heroes. Villain or not?How can she track them? Is she working for Company? Her name can’t be read in the picture of 12 (Picture)
Niki, Nathan and Adam – Are they really gone?
David Anders ( Adam ) will definitely return and he will meet a new friend!
About Niki and Nathan ( Ausiello – TV Guide) “One of them is definitely not dead. The jury’s still out on the other.”
Adrian Pasdar ( Nathan) says: “I wish I could share with you all the future for Nathan… But, as you all well know, mum IS the word. Who could possibly have shot me? The REAL answer to that question is very, very interesting. I promise.”
Mum ( Angela ) is the word?
The production and writing staff is somewhat split as to whether Nathan should return to the show. Fans will decide?
Kristin said: “Heroes without the brothers would be like Prison Break or Brothers and Sisters without the brothers: a waste of time! Surely Claire’s blood can save her own father, right?! Let’s say a little prayer for the older Petrelli, shall we?” and I (we) agree…
There are rumors floating around that Niki’s evil alter ego Jessica will be a part of the Volume 3 and not Niki.
What lies ahead
Micah’s storyline will end also
Zachary Quinto (Sylar) will be more badass then ever and when we come back he will kill a star on the show. Now, with the strike dragging on, he’ll likely be done playing young Spock by the time Heroes returns to production.
“Badass” Future Hiro will make another appearance and will also be seen in another “future” episode of Heroes.
You might see a woman from Japan coming into Ando’s life pretty soon. It’s the second half of the season that gets really interesting for Ando - He wouldn’t confirm that said love interest would be Hiro’s sister. Is she?
Down the road, fans will learn what are Mr. Nakamura’s powers (and yes, “are” is a key word here)
Return of some characters from the Season one like Claude ( the invisible guy)
Angela is loaded with secrets, some of which will definitely be revealed in the second half of the season. Interpret that as you like.
Though Israeli freedom fighter Hana died in Heroes graphic novel, her consciousness survives. “We will see her again on the show at some point,” promises Jeph Loeb.
Monica will take centre stage as a story arc about her being St Joan unfolds.
General about Volume 3
Right from the start of we will know what the big disaster or major plot line is. And it will probably be linked to something small that we already know about from this series.
Volume 3 will focus on something other than The Company this time.
Villains is the start of something bigger for Heroes and hopefully pace will be much faster than in Volume 2.
We will see more younger generation heroes ( Villains?)
Heroes kicks off the second half of its season, it’ll look very different from what was initially planned. Let’s just say the complaints from fans and critics about the overabundance of new characters and weak overarching story have not fallen on deaf ears, and that changes are being made to return the show to its winning formula.
Kensei mentions the names he’s had over the years - Takezo Kensei, Richard Sanders, Adam Monroe.
Richard Sanders - Nikki Sanders, perhaps? Is there a chance he is the great-great-grandfather?
Maybe that means that Kensei was the first evolved human, and that every ” extrodinary person ” from that point on was somehow a genetic descendant of his? Also, name “Adam” is the first name in Bible, many Heroes have names from Bible like Adam, Peter, Noah…. a clue?
Kensei’s Blood Is Not Permanent
He saved his wife - Diane from tuberculosis by injecting her with a vial of his blood. He heals her, she lives on and dies peacefully 20 years later.
This means that the effects of his blood are not permanent and his blood does not continue to heal a person indefinitely once outside Kensei’s body. That’s great!
His Newest Bride Is
Novel ends with Adam’s monologue in casket holding a ring in the picture to your right ” …. I have my newest bride out there… And I’m certain she’ll find me. ” Theories, theories… according to spoiler bellow, she’s bride candidate number one at the moment
I bought season one a while back and sucked that up like an old man on viagra. Waiting for them to release season 2, partly why I havent watched Season 2
