Good win tonight. Tommy consistent as always and great to see Wright go the other way on the second double. Is Delgado ever going to come around though? I feel bad for the guy but he's a bit of a rally killer. Thank god for Shawn Green and Moises Alou who are our MVPs (with Reyes, Mine, and Joe Smith getting some votes).

  • I'm no Met fan, but don't worry about Delgado. With the surgery and the time away for his baby, he's just behind schedule. No matter what the numbers say, he's still the last guy I want to pitch to with the game on the line

Mets win it in the 9th. But Maine gets a no decision. Nice to see Delgado double and hit a homer, and David Wright also doubled in some runs.

A great getaway day win by The Amazins

This team definatly doesn't panic when they're down late in the game. As long as the bullpen keeps doing what they're capapble of doing, we're gonna have a shit-load of comeback wins this season, assuming that we are trailing in the first place much.

Now lets take it to those paper contenders, the Brewers, We'll have em longing for the days of Teddy Higuera, and Dave Sveum

You must have been told wrong. We never liked Teddy or Dave. :) I love how we put fear into other teams now. Brewers are young and hungry to win.

I think the Brewers can fuck with anybody right now. :) Let's not forget the pink bats will be out for Mother's day and supporting the fight against breast cancer.

And I know this hot streak won't last all season. But I'm gonna enjoy it until it's over. Best of luck to your team and mine. :D

All right; time to get serious. We've got a hot Milwaukee team coming into Shea this weekend. They are young and feeling confident which could be a dangerous combination. However, were starting to put our pieces together just fine.

Lets put the Brews on ice this weekend, These Milwaukee fans are awfully happy about their April sucess. Lets bring em back to reality.

    and then cage those Cubbies

All in a warm up for next weekends hated crosstown matchup. Then the shit-talking will truly begin.

I know, I was thinking that too, but we can outslug them when it gets to the bullpen if we need to, and ours has been rock solid. I'd say we'll take 2 out of 3 anyway.

Shea reminds me of old county stadium. The Brewers will help you guys out by putting holes in the outfield walls with all the homeruns will be hitting. :D

This road trip will answer all my questions on how good this team is. Best of luck to yours and my team. :)

If it was away. The Mets haven't played as well at home this season. I say we take 2 out of 3.

Gotta give these Brewers credit. They battled us hard, and made it a bit apprehensive at the end. However, I still contend that we're in a different class this year. Lets face it, the only team in the NL that can beat the Mets is themselves.

Anyway, I'm heading out to the game tomorrow, and it should be awesome.

    LETS GO METS!

I'm about to head out to the game. The pitching matchup clearly favors the crew today, so we'll probably need to put up a few crooked numbers on the scoreboard. Good thing we have the best lineup in baseball.
