I wonder what the record is for most games in a season only allowing one goal. Flyers currently have 14 this season per the floridah annocers

I've been to a flyers game down there. Weird place to see a hockey game.

Love watching this team. Complete opposite of last year's regular season
  • Nice W with holding on for dear life at the end of a 2nd of back-to-back. The shutout is not going to happen this year - until the playoffs. Maybe unitl the 16th win. :D Flyers Stanley Cups have to be won with shutouts. ;)

  • In an si.com article on the worst year-to-year collapses in sports history, the 05-06 to 06-07 Flyers had the worst collapse in NHL history. He noted that they immediately returned to prominence the very next year, crediting Homer. :D I think we can call the 06-07 team the Forsberg Illfitting Skates.

just some quick digging...the nhl was around for some of those earlier ones, but it looks like the counting to 6 started after the WHL stopped competing for the cup.

hopefully, the flyers can add a name to that list

I agree. Flyers never should've traded him. Even given Primeau's amazing 2004 playoff performance. I always hated that trade.
