The thing about wearing the colors at home is that you only get the whites for every other team, and that's kinda dull.
Re: Guerin, Craig Custance reported that Guerin's just skating, and his agent thinks he'll get a contract done before having to do a tryout. Of course, that could mean getting a contract with the Flyers. I like it. We need scoring on the wing, particularly after giving away Gagne. Broad Street Hockey breaks down the pros and cons.
I say he's got more pop, and consistency, than the fourth line, and could easily skate on a productive, yet defensively aware third, or spot on the top couple lines. Giroux feeding him would be awesome.0 -

eh. a guerin signing doesn't bring much in my eyes. the flyers are good at getting these older type guys after they are productive (coffee, hawerchuck, the beezer, amonte, etc)
I miss the home whites and especially the road orange. the old orange flyers road jerseys are my favorite philly unis of all time0 -

Jody Shelley digs Pearl Jam! (And some other unfortunate choices). This almost justifies a 3-year, $3.3 million contract!

Their ticket office won't leave me alone.
Hockey tickets are too damned expensive. For 2 lower level seats to a regular season game it costs you $150+. I'm willing to pay more for playoff tix (like I did for the cup game I attended last year), but the regular season prices are ridiculous.0 -
