I'm not pushing for any particular price level. I just want to be in the stadium to see a game. Besides, a Monday night game vs. the Mariners isn't really a premium ticket (the way I see it). It should be easy to move around inside the stadium once the game starts.

Or am I underestimating the fanbase and the ushers at Shea?

You are definitely right. I would buy the cheapies and try and move up.

Btw, everybody here score tickets to the MSG shows?

I'll be in for both and hope to see you guys there and at a Mets game!

I got MSG 6/24. We're going to try the general on-sale for 6/25 so that we can buy 4 together for friends in Queens.

METS game on 6/23 against (appropriately) Seattle! Let's get our Mets/PJ experience together!

How far in advance (if at all) do you think we would need to buy said tickets?

Probably not far in advance. If its only like 5 or 6 people going, we could probably even buy tickets at Shea before the game.

This game in particular is a Monday night game against Seattle. I've never been to Shea, but it doesn't seem like a huge match-up that will drive lots of ticket sales.

I could be wrong, though.

Great game all around. Great pitching (duh), great offense. David Wright is pretty much favorite player now (I know, its kind of lame and cliche, but the guy is just fucking consistent, and clutch).

I don't think tonight's game is on television for me. I've got to get a better package or something altogether different because the coverage of the Marlins is sketchy.

Pedro's hamstring is strained. MRI in New York on Wednesday. Mets take it to extras, but the bullpen blows it.
