    I thought the same thing.

Wagner has been shooting his mouth off again--but that shouldn't surprise anyone.

The Matt Holliday rumors are ridiculous.

    Not.
What does it say about someone who talks sh*t about someone after they are no longer there?

BTW: SNY does have good coverage, plus they have Scott Ferrall on the air.. Shake it up!

Giambi is not an All Star to me. maybe a HR Derby participant, but not an all star

I like a few of their shows, but not that one. I'm not a fan of Ferrell, or Captain Cliche, Brandon Tierney

Unbelievable. Hopefully the Mets can continue to take advantage of weaker teams, with the upcoming series with Cincinnati. Also, hopefully the ASB doesn't screw up with their rhythm too much.

I didn't stay up and watch (I refuse to watch the All-Star Game until the NL actually wins one), but were any of us Mets fans really surprised when Wagner gave up the tying run in the 9th?

Hopefully, Johan will go all nine innings tonight and there will be no need for Billy to even warm-up.

    TEN!

Four runs in the top of the ninth to continue the winning streak in come-from-behind fashion. The Mets are now tied for first place with 66 games left to play.

Johan has got to be sharper in his outings for the rest of the season. 4 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, and 3 BB is not the type of performance the team needs from him. Pedro is going to miss his scheduled start on Sunday.

  • Have to tip the cap here, that's a great win. Cordero's no slouch, they got to a good closer. Funny thing, I turn on the game for the top of the 9th, and said: hey, I wouldn't mind Cordero blowing a few saves, as I have Jared Burton on a fantasy team. I didn't mean last night, Cordero.......

The winning streak is over, but I'd say the Mets did a good bit to restore our confidence in their abilities as a team.

I'm very excited for these last 60 games or so. Especially with the Phillies coming to Shea on Tuesday.

Let's get out of Cincy with a split!

Tomorrow begins a mighty big July series for the Mets. Though it IS still July, I think we'll get a sense of what the Mets are thinking regarding the trading deadline if Philly exploits any glaring weaknesses.

What's with Wagner needing an MRI on his shoulder today?

Huge series. If the Mets want to prove they're a playoff team, this is the time to break away.

So Wagner complained of stiffness, but didn't have the MRI until today?

What's plan B for the bullpen if the old man can't sling it?
