    nice!

fuck I didnt think Nady would play today...dunno if I should replace him with Magglio. My fantasy outfield is pretty disgusting, Carlos Quentin, Ryan Ludwick, Magglio O. Ichiro for runs and steals and Nady :D

wtf do I start today?? lol

I think I'd start Nady over Ludwick, just because Fenway's a better hitters park than Shea, and he'll likely have good protection in the order
  • what the fuck were they thinking giving him so much money? He was coming off an 8-8 year when they signed him, (after 2005) and his best year ever was 3 years prior to that (2002, 18-6)

when I heard his name bandied about, I thought he could only help them as a lefty in the pen. With marte, they don't need taht now, at least not at $10 mil per

    mannn
I hate taking out ludwick cause hes such a beast and the times I did it bit me in the ass. He belted like 2homers 3 runs scored and like 4 ribbies. Him and Quentin I leave in ...I usually swap Mags, with Ich for steals and Nady for power.oh well too late now..games started :p

come ON jeter on 3rd..bring him in A!

  • I have Quentin too. Off the waiver wire, and he's one of my top guys on my team, and I drafted Holliday, Soriano, Granderson, and Abreu. Quentin's probably got more points than all of them

same here..no one knew about Carlos early..so I had Abreu and he sucked so I dropped him and picked up Quent. I missed my draft so autodraft gave me Abreu, Ich and Magglio, Ludwick off the wire too :D

also found Mark Reynolds at 3rd on waivers ;)
    ah fuckers down 2-0

UPDATE, 2:54 p.m.: Brett Gardner was optioned to Scranton. LaTroy Hawkins was DFA’d. Also, Kei Igawa had cleared waivers and was taken off the 40-man. So they’re at 39 now. Plenty of room for Jarrod Washburn.

    :)

bases loaded..........no outs........top of the order.......gotta blow this thing open now

that would be sweet, Moose going for the sweep! Remember when he almost got that no hitter and freaking Carl Everett broke it up when he was down to the last strike? Ugh!
I didn't see the game but I caught the wrap up on YES. They'll show it on ESPN later, I bet.

You were watching the game by ESPN Zone? I love that place! They have the big giant warm cookie dessert! It seemed like it might be cheesy before I went but I enjoyed it!

the score was 1-0 in the 7th. And the count was 2-0. That wouldn't have been a good idea.

    cool

so far the Yanks website is listing Ponson vs Lester. That should be a good match-up.

the 2001 WS Game 4 is on YES now, and Game 5 will be on next. I still got goose bumps watching Tino's HR!

    i'm watching it too.

jeter's at bat in the 10th was so impressive. he was down 0-2, fouled off several tough pitches, got the count to 3-2 then hit the game winner. i think it was a 11 pitch at bat.
