    Thank you.

People continue to waste time and energy focusing on the wrong things.

Instead of actually investigating what happened, why it happened, what went wrong with the response, how do we fix those issues, people continue to believe in the great myth of an all powerful George W that is dumb as rocks but can pull off the biggest consiracy since the moon landing (that's a joke).

And a lot of people want people wasting their time on this junk because it keeps them from asking the real questions.

    Thank you.

Seriously, I just hope that most people are smart enough not to buy into this. On so many levels it is so false and inconsistent with reality. Unfortunately and with sadness I see that quite a few PJ fans are just this easily led, which is opposite of what I believe about this band.

  • compromised structure, "faulty" engineering, bad assumptions, poor egree planning...and the way the building was designed...led to what happened following the moment of impact...most people want to point a finger instead of looking at the myriad of factors that came together as a downforce on the buildings...it's easier that way...you don't need to understand anything about deductive reasoning, or rational thought...

Looking back, I can see that I might be wrong in thinking what he was saying. So point taken.

Yeah, I shouldn't let seeing so many people on here buying into it make me think that there are just as many people in the rest of the country believing the same thing. It is just annoying as hell for some reason and it isn't because I am a Bush supporter, because I'm not. I have to say that because people will assume I am when they see I am from the South.

From your follow-on post it is clear that you equate people who don't believe in wild conspiracy theories to be the 51% who voted for Bush.

I've got a newsflash for you - the vast majority of Americans do not believe in conspiracy theories. Therefore a large number of people who don't believe in these 9/11 fairy tales also did not vote for Bush (myself included).

I know you fancy yourself so much more sophisticated and intelligent than the average American, but none of your 40 posts on this board have done a thing to disabuse us of the notion that you, in fact, are the dopey one. Have a great day!

Just so you know, back in 2001 fighter jets were NOT stationed at Andrew's Air Force base. Back then and today it is mostly used for military transportation.

My brother worked for the Air Force, and now works with the Army Core Of Engineers, and when he was home for Christmas I asked him about fighter jets based at Andrew's.

Take it as you will, but that is what I know to be true.

And on an un-related note he now has Top Secret clearence, and I was jokingly asking him about Roswell and the like and he said 'You're not even asking the right questions'

That right there was kind of scary!!! They be doing stuff that the normal public doesn't even have an idea is going on!

wait a minute...i was thinking...isn't air force 1 stationed there? so it doesn't seem likely they'd have no support for air force 1 and 2...so i looked up their site and it says:

    Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland
The 316th Wing -- the base's host wing -- is responsible for intaining emergency reaction rotary-wing airlift and other National Capital Region contingency response capabilities critical to national security and for organizing, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready forces for Air and Space Expeditionary Forces. The wing also provides installation security, services and airfield management to support the President, Vice President, other U.S. senior leaders and more than 50 tenant organizations and federal agencies

then i clicked some more and found:

As the host wing at Andrew Air Force Base, the 316th Wing provides contingency response capability critical to national security to include emergency reaction rotary-wing airlift for the National Capital Region, combat-ready Airmen to Air and Space Expeditionary Forces, and a secure installation and robust infrastructure to support Andrews Air Force Base organizations.

annnnnd when i clicked on even more it says there are F-16 Fighting Falcons as well as EA-6B Prowlers...now, F-16 are fighter jets, right?

Oh, I totally think that there are special interest groups that own politicians in our government. Those groups buy favors, legislation, contracts, etc... But I don't think that they have formed some sort of shadow government that would have the control and coordination necessary to have pulled this off.

so it was all just a mere coincidence that the bush gave a contract to the carlyle group <which is ran by daddy bush and other former cabinet officials> for a weapons system that the pentagon repeatedly voted against...it's all just happenstance that the carlyle got paid for this then the project was scrapped later on, by the pentagon, but not until after they got paid?

come on, i thought you were smarter then that

how about that contract rummy's company got for that bird flu vaccine? how much did they get for that?

sorry, policy is set around making these ppl $. they help destabilize regions and step back into the public sector and make $ from it.

also you have to think others were involved...the wall street journal reported the head of the isi wired mohammed atta a lot of money a little before the attacks. the isi have lots of ties to terrorists
