really? and el queda was just a set up?

No, I think the events were allowed to happen by the rouge members of the gov't. I don't buy into the whole "a military jet flew into the WTC". I think the events were allowed to happen by a couple of people with very high ranking in our gov't.

"very high ranking" like who? you think a secret like this can be kept form the thousands of people in government? kept from the media? kept from 1 single person who thought "well maybe this isnt such a good idea."

Yes I think it is very possible. I believe a number of people from within the gov't have come out and said they believe what happened was a conspiracy. There are people just as devoted to the American cause as the terrorists who attacked us that day. They will do anything to further their cause.

I have seen no proof of that. if I did believe that however I certainly would not want to live in a country that would purposely attack and kill its own people.

You have seen no proof of what? The commanders and members of the inteligence community who say 9/11 came from members within the gov't? I think it's just reality that there are people who believe in advancing Americas presense in the middle east that they would allow something like this to happen because it would bring on war(s) in that part of the world.

Let's not forget that these people got to DC in roles of power not because they were smart or because they were cutthroat. They got there because they are both.

just because people come out and say the "official" story has holes, doesnt mean they think people within our own government orchestrated such an attack.

I didn't follow the whole 25 pages of debate but I feel the US government owes me something, and I'm not even american.
The consequences (other than the tragic death of the people that day) of 9/11 are dramatic and have been going on for 5 and a half years now. What happened has changed some things for the whole world. The wars being led against terrorism and the axis of evil are affecting everyone and, if I'm not mistaken, they started in response to the events of 9/11. But I'm not satisfied by the official story of what happened that day (and a quick look to the thread seems to indicate I'm not the only one) and I really think I/we have the right to know the truth about this day.
I'm not hinting the Bush Admin is behind all this, I just feel after their world changing decisions, the least they could be is honest on the subject.

knowing that Osama bin laden and el queda were responsible for the attacks isnt enough for you? what else do you want to know?

if you feel you need an explanation about why Iraq has anything to do with 9/11 so be it. I will agree with you. I dont believe it does except for a short time when "el queda in iraq" was running around.

Actually, no it isn't enough for me. I'm just not completely satisfied by the official point of view. And it's not about what I want to know, it's about what we deserve to know. If you must know the thing that really troubles me is the "reports" pre-9/11 warning the government of a possible danger, but for someone else it will be another "fact" of the official story. I'm not waiting for an answer to my question I'm just saying we should know the whole and true story of that day.
For Iraq too, but that's another story and I have even less hope for that one.

there are reports all the time of possible attacks coming. just last summer there were reports of terrorists wanting to attack New Yorks subway. if they succeeded then one can say, "well our government knew it was coming and let it happen". do I think the official story is bullet proof? no but I do believe without a doubt that osama bin laden and el queda were solely responsible for the attacks on my country. and for me, thats all I need. knowing he osmam did it is justification enough to bomb the fuck out of the taliban. saying Iraq is part of the war on terror pisses me off and like you said, another story.

the only thing I can hear as debatable would be why WTC 7 came down. a building that was not salvageable and no one was injured or killed when it did come down.

that is not the only debatable issue. there are plenty of debatable issues concerning 9/11. another issue that i find absolutely ridiculous is how bush stonewalled the commission. what kind of legitimate investigation for the best country in the world who failed miserably to protect it's people with its trillion dollar defense system would get shafted like that and have no public record of what went on in that room when cheney and bush testified (not under oath). the commission report, and even the NIST report both fail to mention many key points concerning what happened that day. there has been no accountability.
you're a real hooker. im gonna slap you in public.
