    Police on Rolling Stone

06.12.07 Police on cover of new issue of Rolling Stone magazine...

The new issue of 'Rolling Stone' is due to hit news stands in Wednesday (June 13) in New York and Los Angeles, and Friday everywhere else, features an in-depth interview with The Police conducted by David Fricke. The Police make the cover of the magazine too.

In celebration of this extremely exciting issue, Rolling Stone are unleashing an arsenal of Police items. Later this week their site will host a retrospective Police photo gallery, a behind-the-scenes video from the cover shoot shot by Stewart Copeland's son, an excerpt of the cover story, and the chance to write your own cover lines.

Make sure you get your copy!

a friend of mine asked me to check the status of the atlantic city show.

turns out the Ticketmaster page is only offering the 350 dollar seats , for a pair together. This is after checking " best avaialble "
and after i tried for the 100 buck seats- ( which told me sold out)

this is going to be a good show- the sound at this venue is prettty good.

when they first went onsale you could get any of them-pretty easily, but then weve had this discussion

after a couple of days, believe it or not, there were only $350 seats left.

Ill be in 203 @225 a pop. I dont understand why this isnt more popular.
Probably the smallest venue on the tour (except fan club gigs).

im seein em in hershey and cant wait...the set looks great too, though i do hope we're one of the shows that gets murder by numbers
I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.

I sat behind SC for a show during the synchronicity tour

    good fun

worth it just to see walking in your footsteps up close, but, I scalped that ticket for $40
If its less than $100 I say go

it's $110 but it really isn't about the money...well it is but goddamn they put on a good show....

Id be on the fence also for $110.

    Good luck

If your not worried about the cash, whats the dilemma?
You got someplace else you'd rather be? Figure you will catch em on the next tour ;) ?
No place id rather be than at a rock show, even a mediocre one. cash is the only thing keeping me from seeing more police shows

Thanks for posting cutback :) I am so excited for the July 3rd show. I have seats behind the band but more towards the side. Didn't have the funds for a $200.00 ticket but I'm in the building so life is good. Never thought I'd see them live. I was in 9th/10th grade their last tour and my parents refused to let me go to concerts. Ironically, who's going with me? My mom. Life, it's sure ironic.

Hey Jeanie, nothing like a hangover to ruin a great time, huh? Are The Police making it out to Australia?

I'm still going to be bitter and angry about this tour since supposedly it bounced PJ from playing Fenway this summer. Otherwise I would have just been ambivalent.

well what to say.....dodger stadium last night rocked.....the boys were definitely on.....stings voice was strong....stewart is a madman....and andy slays the guitar....well he should have but i think there might be a guitat tech looking for work....i noticed a couple times in anaheim and especially last night that andy was having probs.....a lot of the time you couldn't hear him in the mix and then bang! there he'd be......but he still rocked killer solos and sting and stewart more than made up for it......the crowd was really into it much more than staples which btw was not a good show compared witht the 2 that followed.....listening to the boot of next to you at staples compared to anaheim or last night well there is no comparison.....the stadium setup is really cool.....simple yet beautiful...you can check my pics below....i have a feeling by the time they get to the east coast they will be dead on and you guys are gonna see some great shows.....a 14 year olds dream has come true....23 years later but well worth the wait.....:D:D
