Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

Let's hope that Sting's ego does not scuttle this effort.

This is unbelievable. I figured that Sting would never reunite. I hope they play some dates in the US.

That's what I fear. Not that I don't like Sting's solo stuff (to a point) but I don't want to hear the trio do it.

FUCK YEAH!!! God, Stewart Copeland ROCKS!!!!

King of Pain is the SHIT!!!

There's a little black spot on the sun today
It's the same old thing as yesterday
There's a black hat caught in a high tree top
    There's a flag-pole rag and the wind won't stop

I have stood here before inside the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the king of pain

The reunion is all about money...although they had good music. I will not be going because too many times those reunion bands disappointed me...

It was probably Stewart. Another reason why this tour may not see the light of day. At Stings wedding, they took over the wedding band's instruments and started playing. Sting remarked later, paraphrasing, "We start playing and I look at Stewart and the old, bad feelings came back".

Needless to say, if this does happen, I will be there.

  • I doubt this has anything to do with money atleast not in Stings case. and it wouldn't be right for Sting to do any solo stuff this is about the Police not the borring shit he did on his own.

Good timing!.. I just started getting into the Police a few months ago when I bought my first Police album. I now have all the albums, so to me it's like they're a new band that never split up! :D
