On the day of the show,Wednesday November 14th, sequentially numbered wristbands will be distributed beginning at 2:00 PM outside GATE ONE. Wristbands will be distributed until 5:00 PM.
A starting number will be randomly picked at 5:15 PM; this will be announced and displayed on a placard at the gate. The starting number will be drawn randomly by a fan. The fan holding the wristband that matches the starting number drawn will be first in line (i.e. if #'s 1 - 100 were issued and number 10 was drawn, the line would start with 10, then 11, 12, 13 through 100 then 1-9). When the starting number is announced, the line will shift accordingly. No more wristbands will be distributed after 5:00 PM
At 5:30 PM All fans with GA tickets and a wristband should begin lining-up in numerical order, beginning with the announced number. The purpose of the random number distribution is to insure that all fans have the same chance of being first in line, eliminating the need to camp out. This policy also helps to insure customer safety and provides for an effective means of crowd control. The line will be escorted into the GA Pit Area in front of the stage approximately 10 minutes before the rest of the patrons are allowed to enter the venue.
One wristband per patron and the patron must also be in possession of a GA ticket.
A wristband and a GA ticket are required to enter the GA Pit Area in front of the stage.
Anyone who receives a numbered wristband between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM has a chance to be first in line to enter the Pit Area, but a wristband does not guarantee a place in the Pit Area
Wristbands will be issued and affixed to the patron’s wrist only after the patron's ticket has been verified a GA ticket.
NO WRISTBANDS WILL BE ISSUED AT THE GA PIT ENTRANCE ON THE FLOOR WITHIN THE VENUE.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT NO PATRON, FAN, OR CLUB RUN LIST WILL BE HONORED BY TOUR PERSONNEL, SECURITY OR BUILDING PERSONNEL!
The above procedures will be implemented and supervised by touring personnel.
>NO CAMERAS WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE ARENA FOR THIS EVENT

Not much stops the show -- this rarely happens, except in cases of detatched retinas or particularly nasty bugs. Sounds like Bruce has the latter. We wanted to get this official statement to you right away, in case this affects you:
Arnhem concert moved to tomorrow
Tonight's Bruce Springsteen & The E Street band concert in the Gelredome in Arnhem will be postponed until tomorrow, Saturday, December 1st. Bruce Springsteen won't be able to perform tonight, due to a severe cold.
He states he is very sorry to have to postpone tonight, but does want to give the fans the show they deserve. And at this point, he feels he won't be able to do so. However, he is convinced his health will be recovered sufficiently tomorrow night, to perform 100% up to standards.
I borrowed the Brucce Unplugged from the library. Love it!
Of couse I am partial since he opens with Red Headed Woman.

That it’s all supposed to be hush-hush, but word is that either Bruce Springsteen (again) or Bon Jovi will play Fenway Park [map] in August. “It’s a coin toss,” said Someone Who Knows. There was some chatter than U2 might play the old ballyard, but the band’s new album doesn’t come out untilfall, so it’s unlikely they’ll tour before then.

I don't know why everyone seems to be getting pissy that he didn't get a nod for Album of the Year. He still got nominated 4 times which is a hell of a lot. Springsteen's won a shit load of Grammys in the past so who cares.

I was responding to a question about the Portland show, but yeah, that does sound shitty. I wonder if I'll head to these shows or see if he adds dates in the fall. Ideally besides Portland and Seattle I'd like to see at least one show back east (hopefully the last show of the tour).

I just think some people (not you in particular, since I wasn't talking to you in the first place) are taking this a bit too far. 4 Grammy Nominations is still a good haul. It's nice to see that the Album of the Year nominations are diverse and broad. "Magic" is good but it should be judged on how it is as a record, not by Springsteens legendary status. And it got good reviews, but they aren't exactly as universally positive as they were for The Rising (which got nominated for Album of The Year, I believe).
Quite frankly, I think its' amazing that Springsteen is still been recognised by the Grammys these days. Look at all of the other artists from the 70s and 80s who have faded away into obscruity. "Best Rock Album" and "Best Rock Song" (among others) is nothing to be sniffed at, surely.
Anyway, I didn't want to derail your thread so sorry, just wanted to explain myself.
I'm going to pop my Springsteen cherry! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Got tix for Portland, I'm tempted to swing up to Seattle the next day but the only tickets left are behind the stage way up in the second level AND they are $95 before fees and taxes.
