    I love the people who says things like... "I used to like Bruce but then he became political."  Uh... he's always been political.  You just weren't paying attention.

    Today I went to a Springsteen event at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was really cool. First Robert DeNiro came out and gave a speech about why Bruce was getting an award. Then Bono came out and gave a speech about Bruce. Then Bruce came out and he and Bono sat down and had a conversation. They talked about activism, music, politics, their long friendship, etc. Patti Smith came out and sang a song. Then Bruce, Bono, and Patti sang People Have the Power. Then Bruce closed out the show with Land of Hope and Dreams. It was a really fun show in a small theater.
