So what exactly happened at MSG? How much time prior to show time did they release tickets? Is it something where you purchase and have to go right into the venue?
basically, TM has ben dropping the tickets the days before or the day of the event.
at MSG, there were no drops thru ticketmaster, but a long long line developed at the venue in the lobby- with no guarantee of ticket releases - and people started lining up the night before from what i heard .
Then, the night of the show ( aprox 5pm- 6 pm ) , they were letting strands of like 10 -15 people in at a time to the ticketwindow box office-- ( as showtime approaches ).
In the past, Bruce has used that policy where you pickup tickets at willcall , & then you are shuffled right into the venue ( to prevent the scalpers ) . I do not think this happened this most recent time at MSG- but evenso the time is limited that you probably dont want to go out in the streets and then into the show. Remember , there are no opening bands for Bruce and ESB .

-Badlands
-Born to Run
-Candy's Room
-Dancing in the Dark
-Girls in their Summer Clothes
-Glory Days
-Growin Up
-I'm Goin Down
-Incident on 57th Street
-Jungleland
-Night
-Prove it All Night
-Rosalita
-She's the One
-Sherry Darling
-Spirit in the Night
-Santa Claus is Coming to Town (show closer)
-Thunder Road
I'm sure they played more but I just don't remember right now.

Another great setlist, fucking sweet.
I can't wait for 2008 when Bruce tours the states again. I'm so going to a few shows.
01. Intro / Radio Nowhere
02. The Ties That Bind
03. Lonesome Day
04. Gypsy Biker
05. Magic
06. Reason to Believe
07. Night
08. She's the One
09. Livin' in the Future
10. The Promised Land
11. Code of Silence (with Joe Grushecky)
12. Backstreets
13. Working on the Highway
Disc Two:
01. Devil's Arcade
02. The Rising
03. Last to Die
04. Long Walk Home
05. Badlands
(encores)
06. Youngstown
07. Girls in Their Summer Clothes
08. Kitty's Back
09. Born to Run
10. Dancing in the Dark
11. American Land
This was recorded from one of the back corner's of the arena on the second level and turned out better than I expected, given the distance to the speaker stacks. The one second drop-out in Ties that Bind actually happened live at the show (first time I've seen that happen). It is not a recording glitch.
I was at Boston last night - got my ticket at 10 am yesterday morning on TM - section 19, 3 rows behind Roy (I sat in the same seats on opposite side of stage at Hartford, 3 rows behind Danny)
Bruce came on at 8:20, done by 10:35.
Going again tonight - can't wait. Nothing like back to back Bruce, expect maybe back to back PJ.
I was hoping for some songs from Wild, Innocent last night, especailly after Albany last week, but no such luck...hopefully tonight. Kitty's Back, please!!
Last night was a pretty generic setlist for this tour, except for Jungleland. But the show was still so awesome - even a generic Bruce setlist is better than most other shows. New songs seem to have evolved since Hartford started off the tour 6 weeks ago. Great stuff. No Surrender in #2 spot. Jackson Cage in place of Night (too bad, I love night). First time eharing Tunnel of Love, so that was nice to hear. Patti actually sounded good. Marriage proposal in the pit last night too, Bruce dedicated I'll Work for your Love to them. I remember a proposal at a recent PJ show in Boston - I'm thinking of 2nd rehearsal show in 2004, if I remember correctly (9/29/04)
Peter Wolf was in the house, but didn't come on stage - he was sitting for part of the show a couple of sections over, disappeared for a bit (to the soundboard I think) then came back and sat the rest of the show. Hard to miss if you know what he looks like.
Rumor of Santa Claus Coming to Town tonight. Also rumors of tonight being Danny's last show in the band. Could be very sad and emotional if true.
Here is Backstreets.com review of last night and setlist....
November 18 / Boston, MA / TD Banknorth Garden
Notes: The first night in Boston, "Home of the World Champion..." Bruce began, putting on a dejected face as the crowd went nuts for the Sox, "ah, you know the rest." That was his only sullen moment of the night -- it was a high-energy show start to finish, with a typically great Beantown crowd to match. "She's the One" was especially intense, Bruce channeling his energy at the end into a high toss of his guitar to tech Kevin -- right over Garry's head. Good thing Kevin's got hands, and and good thing Garry's not a couple inches taller. A special moment came a few songs later, before "I'll Work For Your Love": "I'm kind of like a captain of a ship," said Bruce, "We've got a little proposal going on!" At the front of the pit was a guy with a sign that read "We met 15 years ago, I'm proposing tonight!" The lucky lady was held aloft during the song as Bruce blessed their union. "Alright, kids, remember... you gotta work, work!" (And to stress that point, he went into "Tunnel of Love" next.) He also added, "Next time try a candlelight dinner, bottle of wine, the usual." Clarence was spot-on all night, especially on... wait for it... yep, "Jungleland," in the encore. The Big Man nailed his spotlight moment. The only real curveball in the set, "Jungleland" went out to Bruce's friend Bob Coles, as well as a whole host of "mamas" in the crowd, including Max's mom and George Travis's too, who's 93! Also in the house, hometown fave -- and frequent Springsteen guest, though not tonight -- Peter Wolf. Maybe tomorrow?

Alright, now that the shock has worn off I need to speak about how awesome this is for me. My Fiancee is on her first year of teaching so she hasn't had time to do shit. She loves concerts as much as I do and shes had to skip two shows and leave one early (she told me she cried on the way home!). These NW Bruce shows happen to be on the Friday and Saturday of her Spring break so it will be perfect for her and I. I imagine we'll probably end up staying the night in Seattle and spending some of Sunday there - f'ing awesome. Unlike in years past he's playing seattle proper with the band. If Ed is unattached how can he not stop by? Ho-ly shit. When Bruce sang "faith will be rewarded" he wasn't kidding!
