Like, yeah, some people will be shitty, and it can get weird and chippy, but I generally find that if you just let the assholes be assholes—however you define that—then everybody around you is chiller for it. You're all within a stupid close distance anyway.0

I’m not crazy about the round…. It’s cool change of pace, but not for bunch of shows0

If you get triggered by weirdos/selfish behaviour then I'd suggest avoiding the really early line up for anything in society, let alone your favorite band. This cult-like behaviour isn't exclusive to Pearl Jam. It happens for other bands but also sports events, new tech devices etc.

At Hollywood N2, spent an incredible day at the ocean/beach, got to the Hard Rock and had a couple drinks, rolled into show around 8:00 and had this view. To each their own, but I feel bad for the people that spent all day in a line just to be 10 ft closer.
Can't tell you how many shows for PJ or any band that I've strolled in to GA an hour before show time and ended up in a similar spot to your photo. Better sound a few metres back anyway!Come to send, not condescend...0 -
No dog in the fight here as I would never spend that much effort to be “on the rail”. But it seems to me following this entire thread that these obsessive rail people are a fucking problem. I definitely agree with everyone about bringing back the seating with the lottery rows. Although I never won the lottery it was always exciting knowing I had a chance while on the way to the box office to pick up my 10c tickets. Which also was exciting because you didn’t know where your seats were until you picked up your tickets!0

So nobody will name this person. Why?
If the person is at every show and people have spent 24 hrs with them in a line.

They won't bring back seated rows up front, purely from a financial perspective. Easy money.Come to send, not condescend...0

I do not understand how these fans can get GA tickets for every show after the shift to the new Ticketmaster system0

Lots of people don't have tickets at the start of a tour announcement and lots of people pull out from illness or family issues and have spares. I guess the last few tours it's a new system so I don't know about the "new" way of ticket swapping.
But previously it's been very simple to get a ticket near the gig. Look on this forum today there will be tickets spare. And as said before in the thread have a very wide network of great friends like glow girl , and many more I could add. She offered me her spare for London for free. And I've had others here so the same and I've done the same . There are a wealth of kind people who all want the same thing, to be at pj with great friends from all around the world. If there is one person guy/girl , whoever this mysterious person is that is doing something wrong then I'm sure it's a bad apple not a group of clandestinesPost edited by lastexitlondon on

I got the rail several times until the shift to the new system by simply posting ISO GA on this forum. I had to the opportunity to meet very kind fellow fans. This no longer works with F2F. If the same people get GA for every show the playing field is not even. Anyway since 2014 the same bunch of people has been up front for every concert in every region of the world with every system of ticketing.
I assume that the band appreciates these people as managers of the line0 -
Fortunately the tour ends Sunday and these folks will have to go back to their miserable lives.
Then they can spend their time operating and selling all of the merch they have been hoarding on Facebooks PJBAY and Ebay.Post edited by PJINFLA on4/22/92 St. Petersburg, 8/23/92 Orlando, 3/29/94 St. Petersburg, 10/7/96 Ft. There's a distinct lack of positivity in this thread.
I just wanna book some shows into my future. I'll happily stand on the roof.0 -
I’m shocked at what has come out about a member of 10C no really I am! I never thought that something like this would surface when I started this thread, Damnjesus greets me looks just like me ....0

Naming someone is probably a bad idea, especially if it has been reported to the band and all that.0
