They aren't even hitting the road for 10 weeks or so for the last announced tour
The only other thing we've gotten is a "rumor" for is the Sphere sometime which we know will be at least August at the earliest due to other Sphere shows
So even if there is a small North America leg for the fall or around the Sphere, those rumors probably wont even leak until late spring or early summer
Europe is completely out for 2025 and South America in all likelihood would have been announced by now
We know they've begun writing/recording.
If we go 2020, 2024, 2026 with album release dates, that'd be a frequency not seen since Binaural through Avocado with three albums in six years.
Avocado through Lightning Bolt was three albums (plus a lot of PJ20 and side project stuff) in eight years.
The time period from 2018-2023 really fucked the band (and all of us) over. Here's what it MIGHT MAYBE have looked like:
2018: South America, Europe, Album Release...tour USA?
2019: Tour the 2018 album.
2020: Tour the 2018 album.
2021: Break? Writing/recording?
2022: Tour 2021/2022 album?
Instead, we ended up having 26 tour dates (27 planned) from the beginning of South America 2018 up until Sea Hear Now in 2021.
We basically had 6.5 shows per year...or about one every other month from 2018-2022.
Indeed I do.
I'm saying if the 2018 album was released AND COVID never happened, things would have looked a lot different when it came to album releases and touring plans.
Instead, the reset button was pressed HARD on that album. It obviously didn't happen and 2019 was a year off which turned into 2020 and most of 2021 off.
Some time during 2018, they said "fuck it", axed the 2018 album and whatever they had begun to pre-plan for 2019, if they had anything at all other than a "we gotta be out on tour" mindset.
Go back to Eddie's comments at Fenway 2018 about not planning to do much touring over 2019. Gigaton was NOT delayed. It's probably much more fair to think of the 2018 album as something vastly different. Gigaton was probably written/recorded over the end of 2018 and into 2019. Whatever the hell was planned to be released in 2018...there's gotta be a good collection of lost dogs there.
If you take the shows from 2018 and averaged them out over 2019, 2020 and 2021, it basically turned into the equivalent of one show every other month.
(Yeah, I get a little rambling there with that 2018 stuff only because I like to play the "alternate universe" game at times.)0 -

if I’m going all the way there, I’m going for a band that makes sense to play there. Those graphics are not sphere ready. Unless they look worse because they’ve been condensed on a smaller screen for the tours. Could list 50 bands I’d think make sense for the Sphere over PJ.Post edited by tylermoore on0 -

Zod said:The Sphere is amazing. The visual are amazing and one thing, but it's also the best audio I've ever heard at a live venue. Rather then using sports complexes and trying to convert them to music venues, this thing is built for music. Pearl Jam would sound amazing in there.I do wonder about the economics. If you want to do visuals it probably costs significant cash to create them for that one of a kind screen. You probably need to play a solid amount of shows to make the revenue to cover that? Not sure if 5 covers something like that.0

I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0 -
I would love to see a show at the sphere. If it was somewhere other than Vegas.0

Teamed up with the right artist, a Sphere show would be really cool. Imagine fully immersive evolution video! The guys have never shied away from being at the edge of new technology / experiences for the fans so I think that would be on brand for them and a great show. I don't personally enjoy Vegas and likely wouldn't go.1996 Charlotte
