I went to one of the first U2 shows at Sphere and the concert was great, the audience sucked. Most people in the seats sit down. It was like a broadway show not like a rock concert. At first I thought there was no way Pearl Jam would ever play there, because they haven't been a huge "screen" visuals/production band... but Eddie went to 3 (I think?) U2 shows, and 2 Eras shows, and clearly loved it. After the U2 run is when Pearl Jam did their own super-visual Sphere-lite screen type stuff. As well as a more structured/predictable set list as of last year. So I've been predicting they'll play there in 2026. They could do it. And it could be cool without being overly cheesy or too computer animated cartoony, I think... just based on the subtle tasteful Dark Matter visuals. Think that, times 100.
And hopefully Pearl Jam fans wouldn't sit down until the last 4 songs of the encore.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

This was like 90-95% of the crowd that wasn't on the 100 floor level. I was in 303 and the entire section was sitting down until MOST not all stood up for Streets Have No Name. It was honestly lame as fuck.
Pretty sure the hippies stood up for The Dead. Then again they want that Vertigo feeling.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

That's right, GA tickets weren't as much. Ours were $265 towards the front of the 3rd level and it was the priciest show I've ever been to, but ended up being a bargain compared to the ticketmaster onsale, same section had seats for $700 and $900. We all know the drill on that now but in early 2023 it was semi confusing. lol
It was a once in a lifetime thing for me, especially because I don't usually go to $300-400-500-600 a pop concerts, but I'd go back for Pearl Jam.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

Given how everything has changed in how music is released there is no longer that ready to go, easy acess material to lump together into a release with little effort. It might even involve the band having to record or re record parts now, or add parts to finish music off so in that sense I dont see Lost Dogs 2 ever coming to fruition0 -

Breath
SOLAT
Leatherman
Man of the Hour
Long Road
I Got ID
Etc
plus songs since then
Of the Earth
Get It Back
Can’t Deny Me
Cold Confession
Let It Ride
Ole
etc
plus more. I would have though they could fill a couple of discs/LPs0 -

I think at the first few U2 shows they were actually telling people to sit down because of the potential "vertigo". Those stairs are pretty steep - especially in the 400 section. I only went to one U2 show but as great as the visuals are the sound is just spectacular. The other good thing is it really doesn't seem to matter where you sit in the stands - the 100's seem to be some of the least popular seats. We sat is the upper deck (400s) and had a great view.0

Such is how music is accessed these days and the wide availability of almost every track released a physical release of tunes already on tunes/spotify etc would be nothing but a playlist we can already create.
Those unreleased tracks however would be lovely......But as said previously I just really doubt there is enough of them finished sufficiently to actually release. I do hope I'm wrong but it always makes more sense to me that there more chance of the band reconvening to record the next studio album than to go over old tracks deemed not good enough to get them in a releasable form.
Already one year on from Dark Matter.......maybe we can hope they get the itch to get creative again soon and especially so given the form we found them in on DM0 -
