Found my stash of home/away show wine from Underground Wine Project. It's been stored in my basement. For anyone staying at Embassy Suites I plan on bringing it all down to share. I have a few bottles.
  • I’m in on this!^^^
  • Me and my buddies land at 5 on Sat then will head that way.

I'll most likely be down around 6-7 that evening. Probably grab something to eat close by hotel and then be hanging out in the outdoor firepit area as long as the weather allows for the rest of the evening.

I'm at ES as well...but live in the city proper so I won't be checking in until Sunday. Save a bottle for us locals! :)

Seems like a reasonable request. As a Bears fan I'm a bit torn about how to approach Sunday afternoon. They play Packers in the 3:30 game. I have a big decision to make on how to handle this. I'm inclined to "tailgate" all afternoon at the ES while watching football in comfortable environment and then walking to the show. Then again one of the big draws to Deer Creek is the tailgate scene in the lot. I need to buddy up with one of those fancy RV owners with a TV.

Yeah, I plan on getting to ES around 1pm or so (Diamond...so I've been able to check in early every time). I've got Colts season tickets and they've got a 1pm home game but there's no way I'm driving 40 min to ES after a game, so I transferred them to my sis.

Like @PJammin mentioned, in the rear of the building, they have an outdoor open area w/fire pit and lots of cushioned chairs/loveseats. We should definitely have a POST party there. When I stay at ES for DMB weekend, it's lively way past 2am.

  • @PJammin, we will stop on the way in and grab some beers to contribute. I do want a swig of wine before heading to watch the pumpkins. Three of us coming from LA (lower Alabama)

No objections here to a post party. I'll be there both nights hanging around the ES. I plan on bringing down some local brews as well. I'm not a big wine drinker which is why I have a couple bottles still hanging around. Being in my late 40's, and from Chicago, I've seen Smashing Pumpkins enough that I don't need to see them again but definitely I nice option for out of towners to catch another live show at Deer Creek.
  • Looking for the best breweries to hit in the Noblesville area.  Four Day Rays looks decent with some food options.  Any suggestions appreciated.

4 day ray is great. Really cool place and good food. But as far as right next to the venue, fords garage. More beer choices than you know what to do with and great food

I would highly recommend the beers at Sun King on 116th St.  They just have a taproom there but there a couple of food vendors in the same building that rotate in and out.  Also that Total Wine and more liquor store at the mall near the venue has a big selection of beers from local breweries if anyone wants to try something different for tailgating or at their hotel.

  • I'm coming in from Chicago Sunday morning, staying at the Embassy also (my brother very wisely booked a room 2 days before the show announcement!).  Sounds like it's going to be a good time even if we just hang around the hotel until a little before show time and walk over.

For those Bears/NFL fans coming in remember, Indianapolis is on EST so the Bears game is at 4:25p.

DAMNIT!!!! Didn't think of this. Appreciate the heads up and reminder. Might just have to let this one play out without keeping my eyes glued to the TV.

Completely out of curiosity and non scientific poll, how many ppl this is their only show of the tour? And if so where are you coming from, are you local etc. Huge demand show, on a Sunday, servicing a few states and more here, just wanna know!

I'm about an hour south of Chicago these days. I'll be hitting up the 2 Chicago shows and the Indy show this time around. I have VERY few trump cards in the family calendar these days but PJ is one of them. It's the only live music experience I continue to chase. I coach junior high baseball and I had a tough decision to miss the game on Thursday to attend the Chicago show. I haven't missed a Chicago show since Soldier Field. I had to keep the streak alive. How about you @Mercury?
