Indy/Noblesville: Roll Call and Discussion

Lifelong Fan (since 92/93) travelling solo to this show from east coast.  This will be my 6th or 7th time seeing them.

Scored 10 Club GA/Lawn tix (only show I picked)

Staying at Hyatt Fishers (have back up reserved ant Embassy Suites near the venue, but is almost 600 a night, likely will cancel that one).

Looking to possibly meet up with some good folks to jam with before/at/after the show.  Was hoping to tailgate at sleepybear, but seems sold out already :(

What yall got?!

Booked a room in Westfield. For those from the area is that a decent area and convenient?
  • Westfield is a nice area. You should be fine.

I got a tailgate ticket for Sleepybear.  I’m solo too and staying in Fisher for now.  Most of the hotels are near each other.  If I keep my hotel room there, it would be cool to carpool with others.  Someone else drive (I don’t really want to drive), use my pass, tailgate with others at Sleepybear, etc.  Just an idea.

Staying with my buddy who I’m taking to his first PJ show. He lives in Fishers less than 10 minutes from the venue. Just saw that the Pumpkins and Interpol are there the night before and will definitely be grabbing tix for that too. But looking at the current seat map there are gobs of tix left, so I won’t be in a hurry to pull the trigger on those.

I am down for trying to carpool, I’ll slide in to your dms.

Any others doing the same, Fishers + sleepybear?  Want to pre or post game?

Confirmed for reserved (hopefully keep my current seats). I'll be at the Embassy Suites off Tegler Dr (walking distance). I live in the city proper but always get a hotel close for shows at Deer Creek (yeah...it's Ruoff now but it'll always be Deer Creek to me). There are three hotels within walking distance (ES, Holiday Inn Express, and Wyndham). Safe walk to and from the venue.
Walking towards DC from those hotels puts you at the back entrance of the venue...so if you have reserved or lawn, you can get in line there. But if you have PIT, you'll have to walk around to the front to "get in line".
I'm a DC veteran so if anyone has any questions about the venue, the area around the venue, etc., just let me know :)

I’ll be in Indy. I went in 2003 and it was great! I have an old college teammate that lives on Geist Reservoir so I’ll stay at his place. Driving up from Nashville and then back after the show for work on Monday morning.

I just checked and there are no tickets available on Stub Hub. I'm sure they were taken down at the request of the promoter and the band.

From what I understand even if tickets are sold (with the exception of the Chicago shows), the sellers will not be able to transfer the tickets.

@max8700 If I'm not mistaken, the Coors VIP Deck and Overlook Lawn Deck are separately priced tickets (or an add-on if you have lawn seats). The VIP rooms/clubs listed are are not worth the price you pay. There are LOTS of places on each side of the amphitheater to procure food/beverages, along with ample room to move around.
I forgot to mention, the only merch booths INSIDE the venue (two that I'm aware of) are directly after you walk in the front entrance and a 50-60 yards beyond that. So, if you want merch, it might behoove you to get in line at the front entrance. Obviously, we have no idea if/where there will be an exterior merch booth at this point.
