  • So...If things start shaking in late February, when do we get the "make sure your info is current" tease?

    January newsletter or February?

Hell, I bet we get it in January so that people start posting "tour announcement?" for the February newsletter...and then the usual disappointment when February's newsletter doesn't have tour dates.

  • Jazz Fest in New Orleans announces in 3rd week of January. Would be great for them to make a big easy return.

Didn't they do Jazz Fest in 2010?

    I wonder if:
Tease Jazz Fest in January newsletter.
    Jazz Fest on-sale date.
Tease "more to come" in February newsletter.
    Spring tour on-sale in Feb/March.

That would definitely allow the Jazz Fest people time to sell tickets, which I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

If they do some festivals Something in the Water in VA Beach could be a possibility. Pharrell has brought it back this year and it usually has one rock headliner. I know the Foo fighters were scheduled but it was cancelled for covid

What anniversary are we up to? PJ31? No matter. Four Nights In Fresno is the only way to mark the occasion.

I don't know if anyone saw the DMB Gorge shows from September, but they incorporated drones into their outdoor shows.  How cool would it be if PJ has an outdoor show with drones forming the Stick Man logo?  Go to the 5 minute mark and you'll see drones forming Leroi Moore and then the Firedancer symbol.

  • I have a hunch that a Hawaii/Australia/NZ tour will happen. Doubtful in 2023. Maybe early 2024? Maybe I’m just hopeful lol

The PJ20 Destination Weekend was, IIRC, 2011, being approximately 10 years after the release of Ten.

The 20th anniversary of the first show was the 2010 show at Bridge School.

    2010+10=2020

This last October was the 32nd anniversary of the first show.

Next year is the 32nd anniversary of Ten.

Wish they would come back and play Red Rocks. Or the Gorge would be cool to revisit too.

2010 and 2016. Jazz Fest always has big Rock band. If not PJ, not sure who with Foo in limbo.

I’ve seen 3 shows at Red Rocks in the past 4 months. It’s a bit overrated to be honest, but the size for a PJ show would be 🔥

    Take for what it's worth

I will be on Vacation May 19-31 - so it is only PROPER that they return to Ohio after 13 years the 2 weeks I leave in May

With that being said.... I don't think PJ fits that festival.  Previous headliners have been much heavier bands than PJ (music style not popularity)

I can't imagine the crowd going from System of a Down, Korn, and Bring me the Horizon into a seated acoustic set featuring Wishlist, Elderly Woman and Sometimes
