If I’m not mistaken 2015 no American shows 2017 no American shows 2018 seven ballpark shows 2019 nothing 2020 nothing then we all got a little excited with the Ohana shows and then the small 2022 shows so I think yes I want some damn shows! Sacramento and Vegas were to be my final 2022 shows some positive news would be awesome!
I saw them at Global Citizen in 2015, and RRHOF induction in 2017. But I don’t know if you would count those.

Heard from a friend of a friend in Sox organization they had been negotiating for another Fenway experience, but not done deal yet. I’m not giving up on at least a few big shows this year. They could conceivably go back to Fenway around Labor Day again as Sox are out of town for a long road trip during that time. Will obviously share any more info when it becomes available to me. Dream is not dead yet though!

From the small inside info I’ve gotten from how Wrigley operates there concerts, if they’re playing a stadium it’s been booked for a bit now...not saying audibles don’t happen but if they’re playing Fenway, I feel like it’d be Locke din by now.
Also if Lollapalooza is happening, I can see them building the tour announcement around that, could be another long 6-8 weeks

Yes, agreed! From how I read it, this was at least a little while ago when they were in negotiations. Not sure how it turned out, but thinking a decision was made one way or another at this point. Hoping for the best.

But the dates and locations of almost every show were known well before that because of chatter. I had a room in Baltimore booked for weeks ahead of time. This year there is nothing similar.

No tours this year would be incredibly sad.
Why. They didn't tour in 2017 and 2019 before COVID-19.

Because they aren't getting any younger and are already scaling back the length of shows, acoustic starts for Ed's voice, etc.  How would not touring this year not be sad when they are still capable of high energy shows? It's not going to last forever folks.
We have 5-7 years left if we’re lucky.  Every year matters.  No one can rightfully expect the band to be the same in their mid to late 60s.
I need 4 more shows to get to 30.  They better get me there!!

Being as Chicago is only a 4 hour drive and Yield is a great record, it would be choice 1. Choice 2 would be Richmond, followed by New York.

If they are looking at ballparks and don't want to deal with any Wrigley Field hassles, Great American ballpark in Cincinnati would be a nice choice.

FYI, I'm still gaming out scenarios for April & May (based on my source in line at Apollo & Krist Novoselic's blog), but I did just come across a post in my Speculation/Data thread, where a board member mentioned hearing about September.
Not the first time I've heard it, but as Tuesday approaches (which would line up with the 2016 Tour Announcement), I'm more willing to focus my attention on the fall. Let's see how this shakes out!

Nice! I would think if it’s going to happen it would be late August or Sept at this point. They seem to like that time frame based on 2016 and 2018. Fingers crossed!

Need the guy who found the fenway concert permits list last time around….where you at? Lol
    thanks @Jadler
This is the public notice of Fenway permit requests from 2022. I don't see anything related for 2023..but I assume it would be within the next month at the latest to get anything booked in 2023
