Hoping for less or none of Ed's punky Ramones style stuff and sappy ballads and more Stone riffs and Mike solos.I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

I wish. But...it isn't 1994 any moreFirst Show: Springfield, MA 4/6/940 -
Hoping for epic "smooth" songs like Nothingman/Dissident/Given to fly/Nothing as it Seems etc, or DARE I SAY IT even Sirens - but not it falling into being like... eh... Lightning Bolt/Retrograde.
And hoping the slower numbers are soaked in a Footsteps/Other Side/Strangest Tribe mood and less "Eddie with an acoustic guitar and perhaps or perhaps not some other members forced onto the track" like Speed of Sound/The End.

Sirens at my age is a lot more impactful than a song like Black, written by a whiny little bitch and listened to by whiny little bitches like myself at age 21-23. But all things change,,,Post edited by incognitony on0

I see that Jeff pumped the brakes a little bit on the progress of the new album. He said it’s too soon for Stone to have said anything!
JA thinks that they are maybe half way through it & whilst the work done to date ‘feels good’ Jeff thinks that the jury is still out for him on what’s been done so far & he’s ‘still not sure’ about the songs.

Something makes my stomach instinctively turn a bit when I hear "HE IS A HUGE FAN AND KNOW ALL OUR SONGS" as an argument for
I mean, this was also by a huge fan:
