Just got my PCR test done in my hotel room. It took less than 5 minutes and I’ll get the result within 24 hrs. Pretty convenient. I’m now more likely to move closer to the stage tonight. 

Saw on the news this morning that Orange County’s COVID positivity rate is now at its lowest since July.

Not bad at all and nice job finding that out. I have to pay $250 CAD to get a test now in Canada. I still do not want one in the US just in case it is positive. This way I know before I fly if I am fucked at least.

My brother and I just got tested to fly back to Vancouver on Monday via CVS pharmacy. Booked the test a week ago. Lady said 1-2 days for the result. If we don’t get results back by 3 on Monday with flight at 6pm maybe have to pay an arm and leg for rapid test. 

Would recommend using this as it was FREE, saving over $150, but do it 70 hours before flight to make sure you get results. I’ll be a bit stressed now worrying about getting results back

^ more details pls. CVS where? Used hotel as address? How did you get out of the social security-residence question at booking? Left blank?

CVS in san elemente. 602 n el Camino road. I simply Used my hotel address as info. 

I thought they would ask about insurance info, but they never did. The documentation they gave me mentioned some random insurance company, I guess they filled that in as I surely didn’t. I booked the test a week ago so I don’t remember what I did for  social security, sorry. I assume I left it blank

Wow, believe it or not, I didn't show id. Did not even clue in on that until you asked. They only asked for my Confirmation number. They give you a bag, you do the nasal swab yourself and put it in a box once you are done which they will send out to get tested. Was total different testing experience then in Canada.

Did the CVS pharmacy drive thru on Friday pm, just got my negative test results today. Used the hotel as my address and put down no insurance so the test costed 0.00.

I booked a pair of appointments for my wife and I at a Santa Ana CVS for tests Thursday at 4pm & 4:15pm respectively. About 69 hours prior to departure on Sunday.

You have never had to be vaccinated to fly to the US at any point in the pandemic is my understanding. Only needed a negative antigen test within 72 hours of travel. Unless the US is changing their stance (and these things happen quickly in a state of emergency like a pandemic) you probably have little to worry about. 

Just keep your ear to the ground regarding booster shots and all should be good 👍

Just found out per my health screening at work (college) I cannot go as I have to answer yes to question 1 about returning from outside of Canada, and regardless have to isolate for 10 days. This means a hard no on making the encore. This sucks

Sorry to hear. That's disappointing, I bet. The random small business policies are gonna count a few activities out here, too, if-when we get back.

Coukd you contact them to see if that is an outdated pre-vaccine policy?
